I was specifically talking about the IMAX 3d, when you're in front of a 70ft screen, with a beam of light that can be seen from the moon...it's a little brighter than you think:)
I wasn't saying that the glasses need redesigning, I was just saying that everyone gets to look stupid...however it's less stupid than when you had to wear the cardboard blue/red glasses on top of or underneath regular glasses.
yes, it's a hell of a lot better. If you have an IMAX near you, they often show 3D movies. They've gotten away from the red/blue glasses and now use polarized lenses.
Also, for the people with glasses, theses glasses go OVER your glasses, so everyone gets to look equally stupid. I wear glasses, and haven't had any problems with the design of the new polarized glasses.
The Lives of Others was actually good, it got the Oscar last year (2007) for best foreign film. I was so pissed that it beat Pan's Labyrinth for the Oscar, that I had to watch it to see what the fuss was about. So, although it still WASN'T as good as Pan, it was still good.
do notice that it's EMI that hired him...the same record company that Radiohead split from when they made In Rainbows. I guess they realized their mistake.
i hate to say it, but it's just not THAT big of a deal on iTunes. Yes, the m4a files DRM'ed, but you can also burn them on a CD (REALLY easily)...at which point there is no DRM, you can play it in your car, kitchen, etc. after that.
why not a retractable glass dome? w/ all the $ they're expending on controlling the weather, I think they could have built and paid for (many times over) a retractable glass dome on the arena.
if(!rain) keep_open;
else close_glass_dome;
I see that as adding one more level of complexity, but it may not be any/that much harder. I would think that they've already done the hard part (messing w/ the signals).
if they can get into a device from the internet that ALREADY KNOWS how to communicate w/ the pacemaker, then these people are still in the same boat.
Yes they are, or will be soon, networkable. From the article:
"...But device makers have begun designing them to connect to the Internet, which allows doctors to monitor patients from remote locations."
someone might have already mentioned this, but I'm glad to see that the slight majority of those were downloading the free Ghosts I version of the download and not all 4. Don't forget that the Pirate Bay IS an official download avenue for NIN (for the Ghosts release).
Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts I (2008)
Hello from Nine Inch Nails.
We're very proud to present a new collection of instrumental music, Ghosts I-IV. Almost two hours of music recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I-IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.
Now that we're no longer constrained by a record label, we've decided to personally upload Ghosts I, the first of the four volumes, to various torrent sites, because we believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method, and we believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them.
We encourage you to share the music of Ghosts I with your friends, post it on your website, play it on your podcast, use it for video projects, etc. It's licensed for all non-commercial use under Creative Commons.
We've also made a 40 page PDF book to accompany the album. If you'd like to download it for free, visit http://ghosts.nin.com/main/pdf
Ghosts I is the first part of the 36 track collection Ghosts I-IV. Undoubtedly you'll be able to find the complete collection on the same torrent network you found this file, but if you're interested in the release, we encourage you to check it out at ghosts.nin.com, where the complete Ghosts I-IV is available directly from us in a variety of DRM-free digital formats, including FLAC lossless, for only $5. You can also order it on CD, or as a deluxe package with multitrack audio files, high definition audio on Blu-ray disc, and a large hard-bound book.
We genuinely appreciate your support, and hope you enjoy the new music. Thanks for listening.
I'm sure you meant "28 Days Later" the Danny Boyle movie about the zombie-like humans that contracted the "Rage" virus, not "28 Days" the Sandra Bullock movie where she's in rehab for 28 Days.:)

I don't see the reason for rating a buy. The seller HAS the item, and they don't get it until the buyer pays. They either PAY in X number of days, or they don't. If they don't, put it back up on ebay. They didn't lose anything...
How long will this class be that you're teaching? if it's a short class, but you think the budget will come around, can you just download the trial versions of the software?
I couldn't tell if you were sarcastic or not, but in case you were not. It IS hand drawn. They're (Capcom) getting Udon to redraw all of the characters and backgrounds etc. Udon is currently responsible for the production of the SF2 comic books and have handled artwork for other comics as well.
I think it looks great, can't wait! There are other character comparison around, like Guile, Ryu and a few others that you can search on if you look for "Street Fighter HD."
I personally can't wait for Street Fighter 2 HD, here's a graphic comparison of Akuma.
I don't even have a PS2 or XBox and am excited about this release.
I didn't think it was a great book, but a lot of people seem to like the book "Prey" by Michael Crichton. It has a few lists of sample applications of swarms when used with nanobots, but military and medical applications were the focus...
maybe in some language "for" loops will be meant to be processed sequentially, and "for each" can be parallelized?

There is a limit to this though. It used to be unlimited and you could do what you describe, now you can only do it 5 times per month.
If you wanted to be counted, you can download it and NOT install it.
How would that work, then wouldn't that be the ONLY website you need if you're looking for this kind of stuff?
no, it's open sores that they hate
it's too bad that the Bobby certification is no longer available for free. I people weren't already making an effort to make their pages accessible when it was free, I doubt they'll PAY for it. http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdtools/tester/policy/accessibility/

The gameplay is supposed to be "untouched."
I obviously don't read the "preview" screen, I meant PS3. in other news, it's 2007 now and i'm still typing 2006
