    I have 100% success rate with officemax rebates.

    Mostly black friday stuff.

    Yes the fine print is small, but that's why you read it carefully.

    And yes, you can't return defective merchandize for cash or credit without the UPC, but you can certainly get a replacement product. And if you make a big enough stink, I bet you can get cash back minus the rebate amount.

    Rebates are like everything in life, if you go into it prepared, you'll do ok.

    Of course I couldn't make the 2-point conversion*, but still, the impetus was there.

    *Perhaps because it was an Iriver and not an iPod?

    When I tell people that I play Worms online, they usually assume that it's an infantile game. That the game is basically an upgraded version of Gorrillas. But the game can get much much more sophisticated. Here are some common rules for the more challenging game types. My favorite type of game is a shopper. They require skill, guile and lots of luck.

    And the coolest thing is that these games were created by the users. They are not built into the game. Kind of like Frolf =)

    Hopefully Worms3D keeps the same type of freedom, or better yet, embeds them into the game to prevent cows =)

    Speaking of things that were meant to keep us from crying in the eighty's (stupid traumatic childhood), does anyone remember Record Breakers by Hasbro? I loved those toys even more than transformers and lego's combined. I can say that they were the first thing I ever "tweaked." Different motors, different wheels, supercharged batteries, slick racing tracks. I can still smell the axel grease that came in those tiny little plastic packets.
