Yes the fine print is small, but that's why you read it carefully.
And yes, you can't return defective merchandize for cash or credit without the UPC, but you can certainly get a replacement product. And if you make a big enough stink, I bet you can get cash back minus the rebate amount.
Rebates are like everything in life, if you go into it prepared, you'll do ok.
pr0n is not censorship. Porn is not a swear word.
It's more leet-speek.
I have also seen it used to differentiate from computer pornography as compared to non-computer pornography. Yes, there is such a thing.
"It's a pornography store. I was buying pornography."
Woah.
I just did this and got an account.
Oh my god, I wasted 3 whole days hitting F5 on that gmail random invitation thing.
=)
Thanks.
Unfortunately "bigwang" was taken =(
"It also has some kind of emblem that adds either 50HP to your car or 2ghz to your pc (whichever you apply it to)"
Because everybody knows the more case badges on your PC the fastar it is, and the more R-type stickers on your honda the fastar it is.
When I tell people that I play Worms online, they usually assume that it's an infantile game. That the game is basically an upgraded version of Gorrillas. But the game can get much much more sophisticated. Here are some common rules for the more challenging game types. My favorite type of game is a shopper. They require skill, guile and lots of luck.
And the coolest thing is that these games were created by the users. They are not built into the game. Kind of like Frolf =)
Hopefully Worms3D keeps the same type of freedom, or better yet, embeds them into the game to prevent cows =)
"Insofar as it is possible to divide people into categories, the surest criterion is the deep seated desires that orient them to one or another lifelong activity. Every Frenchman is different. But all actors the world over are simila, in Paris, Prague or the back of beyond."
-- Milan Kundera, The Unbearable Lightness of Being
I love these kinds of stories. The connection between us geeks is remarkable. And I speak of real geeks, not mercenaries or perpetrators.
Speaking of things that were meant to keep us from crying in the eighty's (stupid traumatic childhood), does anyone remember Record Breakers by Hasbro? I loved those toys even more than transformers and lego's combined. I can say that they were the first thing I ever "tweaked." Different motors, different wheels, supercharged batteries, slick racing tracks. I can still smell the axel grease that came in those tiny little plastic packets.
I have 100% success rate with officemax rebates.
Mostly black friday stuff.

it says "msn search will crush google"
ditto. And I am considering ignoring the politics section now. How many of those articles just today? 10?
I've had not one, but two, girls comment on my MP3 player. Asking if it was an ipod.
Of course I couldn't make the 2-point conversion*, but still, the impetus was there.
*Perhaps because it was an Iriver and not an iPod?
I selected just the blue color.

Then I upped the brightnes.
Dropped the contrast a bit.
Here's the result:

MOD THIS DUMMY!!!! (Take a close look at your keyboard)
I loved Signs. Scared the hell out of me. If you think Signs is anywhere near the worst movie of all time, you are dead inside.
They probably outsourced the job to Venutians.

Oooh.
I have been looking for a site like imdb and allmusic but for books for a while (Not too hard, mind you).
iblist fits the bill.
Thanks!
If they are so cheap, buy me one =)
;-D releases.
I LOVE 1 disk Xvid or DivX
I just want to watch the movie.
So I burn it and delete it.
If I want something at the height of quality, I will buy the DVD.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
You missed a funny part though.
after they stop swimming naked Wiggum goes
"Allright Lou, open fire"

It was better when it was called PIMP. I was saddened to find out that they changed the name. =(
I find this comment intriguing, yet confusing. Do any current games use this?

Carl: [sighs] Well, it was a real nice secret organization we had once.

The idea of this ludicrous project, the fact that the pentagon is this desperate, or that horrible graphic on the front page.
I didn't even know Joan Rivers was in the microprocessor industry.
Way to go Joan.
Oh, _silicon_!
