Yes, but my taste in music changes. Years ago I purchased a Cranberrys cd. I loved it. Now I havent listened to it in a long long time. If I could sell it for $5, I would. Same thing with online music.
In stores which buy my used cds, they offer me a fraction of the price for the cd. If I payed $12, then they offer me $4. Why cant I do the same with the music I buy from Apple? Sell 10 tunes for $5? Especially if they sucked.
You do realize there are other games just as violent as GTA already available for the GC? Just because they are not as high profile does not mean they are any less graphic or bloody. Open your eyes to more than just what the media bitches about.

There was a game for the Genesis called Shining Force (and its sequel) where each battle took close to 1 - 2 hours. That was insane, it sucked bad when the last enemy on the screen whooped you.

In Japan, Nintendo for the first time sold more consoles last week than Sony. Yes, it was only by 300, and yes it was because of Namcos Tales of Phantasia game, but it shows that the GC will sell if decent 3rd party games are created for it.
BTW, you are correct in your assumption about profit. The GC makes Nintendo cash on each sale, not like MS which loses money.
Sometimes its alot more fun than you realize. I work IT, its such a stress reliever sometimes to ban someone for acting like an ass. Much safer than going to work with a semi-automatic weapon.

On our water heater there is a setting where you can specify how much hot water is kept at any given time. Its suppose to be some money saving feature (ahh no hot water, get out of shower quick etc), but i said fuck that and turned it full. Paying more money is alot easier than fightin for the hot h20.
As an American, I tend to agree with you. But the game of the same nature on the Dreamcast sold a shitload of copies, and well frankly Nintendo is a japanese company, and this is probably a game for that market. Will I buy this game? No. But for their sake I hope it does really really well for the region it is intended.

You may not care, but millions upon millions of other people do. They bring in the most money for Nintendo, of course they are going to fight for that market tooth and nail. If you look at Japans sales numbers, the GBA-SP almost beats out the PS2 and combined with the original GBA, it does.
There are a lot of GBA whores out there, and for good reason; some of the best games around are for that little platform.
