    The real unfortunate thing is, if you are enough of a retard that you need a HOWTO about Lego bricks, you probably would have no idea what to do with these files in the first place!

    The article never mentioned a howto. It talked about a (very cool) lego journal, with interviews, instructions for some models, events...

    I started with mandrake though (couldn't manage to get conectiva working). Right now I'm in a dark linux period: Fedora keeps showing the nvidia logo without logging in, and I'm too lazy to solve it (even though it's been answered in linuxquestions.org). So I've been using windows since.

    You're right. However, if "idiots like me" never posted this, "idiots like me" would remain having a (I think) wrong point of view. Instead of bitching about how "dickhead" or idiotic the other is, try to go to the point. Internet is just another medium, don't say what you wouldn't in person.

    A more clever approach is to have another program do the extracting for you - for example, to distribute it as a password-protected zip file and make the password known to the user. That way, you don't need the identifiable extractor.

    Anti-viruses can read the names of files in password-protected zip files... so no.
