Stick with what you have got, believe me in the long run it's worth the non-hassle. You save money, you watch other people rant over how such-and-such has crappy drivers, you read in glee as something-or-other has crashed their Colonel, you read forums where the members literally shout for H-E-L-P C-O-S M-Y G-F-X C-A-R-D W-O-N-T W-O-R-K. Damnit I've had so much hassle over new hardware I'll only be upgrading when something breaks and then - apart from hard drives - it'll be second hand eBay stock. Stability and speed don't always go hand-in-hand:O)
Hubble is close to earth which means it's easy to maintain - easy in space terms anyway. Webb is a million miles away I gather? What happens if there is a screw missing or some other minor ailment? As I remember Hubble needed new refractors(?) on it's launch.... if history repeats itself NASA is going to look a bit of an arse
I've been an eBay buyer/seller for approximately 6 years and at no time have I ever been ripped off with no goods or money arriving. On the contrary, the users (myself included) I have dealt with have literally bent over backwards to gain positive feedback for themselves. I only wish eBay let you reopen old accounts as within the last year, because of inactivity, I have had a 50+ positive feedback account closed... oh well
...I think he should be locked in a padded cell with a 486-SX and a copy of Windows v3.1 for company, I'd sooner have my left nut crushed in a vice rather than face that
Agreed with the 2x rate, 2x rate combined with quality media::cough::Ritek::cough:: more or less guarantees a burn that will work with most standalone DVD players. I also (with DVD Decrypter) have a 120MB software buffer alongside the 2MB DVD Burner's buffer so I can do other stuff without ruining my burn...
Is it possible for inexperienced users to surf the net in safety?
In short, no and installing even Mandrake or SuSE Linux to provide a little security would provoke more phone calls than you would be able to mentally tolerate (I've been there!).... my advice, leave them to it and don't worry, they'll phone anyway:o)
Casting Ian Holm in the main role wouldn't be such an effort, or would it? Ian Holm is 73 fer christs sake!.... hmm actually thats quite young for a hobbit
I would like to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of my overclocked and slightly worn Geforce2... should this reach 20 years, to the amusement of relatives, neighbours and the local police I'll do a fairy dance naked in the pissing rain
Going way off topic but wishing to enlighten said reader. Gary Glitter is a British pop star who turned dirty bastard... two sites you can visit the official "I didn't do anything Guv" site, and the "I know what you did you dirty bastard" site... hope that helps! Probably not...
...test as many as you can and take your choice. I've tested out Red Hat, SuSE, Mandrake and Slackware but I want something "in-between" Slackware and SuSE - advanced but usable for non-Linux gurus so I'm going to buy some CDR's of Debian from a cheap Linux distributer when the 2.6 kernel is default
Real men rip their MP3's with analogue input. Digital is for pussies.

If Apple ever decides to release OS X for x86 commercially then he has me as a customer for sure, I wonder how many others would switch?
...but that vote is gheyer than the people who vote for it. I mean, what next fuckin' Oscars???
Hmmmm, then again...
"Mr Gates we would like to honour you on daytime tv with this award for making a truly secure and open operating system. LOOK OUT A CUSTARD PIE!"
Well I can dream can't I?

Piracy will be around as long as people want the software/games/etc. It's human nature!
Oh shit if this patent comes into force I won't be able to reinstall Corel Draw 6!
The nuisance of it all!
Oh wait....
I hope Microsoft aren't taking inspiration from the British comedy show "The Fast Show"'s 'Channel 9' sketches.... :o)
For those of you who are wondering what I'm on about... see here, and here, and here, and here, and here....... Scorchio!
Using Mozilla I can block all Google cookies anyway
In a true and just world your words would come back to haunt you, as it isn't I just think your a bit of a stupid cunt to say that.

Forget IBM drives, Seagate or Maxtor produce the best quality hard drives

...has spent years since DOS 3 booting and rebooting a computer to get it just right? I would have given up by now
Being a resident of the Manchester area I now know why Manchester's crime problems have not been resolved. It's official - blame SCO!
