    $ 5m per day is something like $ 1.8 billion dollars per year. So, it hurts bad, but it's still something Microsoft can afford.
    They can't afford it. If EU gets 5M a day, other countries might ask for something too.

    So you have to buy, or already own a copy of Nero. So tell me again how this is "free-as-in-beer?"

    Maybe it is not free as GPL, but users can use same interface on Linux and Windows, if they own Windows version of Nero.

    License is not good enough of FOSS, but it is good for people that move from Windows to Linux. NeroLinux shows that some companies start considering Linux as Desktop platform, that might give some extra revenue.

    worm won't increase deployment of .NET. It targets same audience as spyware.

    You could probably get a much cheaper, nicer CRT. The market it is aimed at would probably not care about footprint anyway after all.

    I have my main address, which only 'real people' know, friends and family. It never gets any spam because it's totally secret.

    Just wait for one of your friends to be infected by trojan.

    I have email address that is not listed anywhere and should be used only by some friends in order to contact me quickly, but it started getting spam after one friend got mail trojan.

    Businesses can superficially "switch" to linux on all the desktops, and they can still charge per-seat in the backend.
    But then Microsoft charges 200 and 400 USD less.

    If they design firewall rules correctly, you won't find an open port.

    53 tcp/udp - use local dns or selected list of servers
    80 tcp - local proxy (transparent proxy works too) no socks4/5
    110 tcp - only to selected list of servers.
    25 tcp - only to select list of servers.

    Done.

    Nope. SPF support is part of debian.

    Doesn't XP Service Pack 2 finally make its way onto Windows Auto-update tomorrow?
    SP2 made its way to windows update last friday. On 2004-08-20 Windows XP Home machines that connected to windowsupdate.microsoft.com were redirected to v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com. Automatic update wanted to download SP2.

    So far you could spot a viurs author by the "evidence" that he had the source code of the virus on his PC.
    author has source of all versions or he/she has lost all previous versions and decided to use net of zombies as backup solution.

    Windows 98 to Windows 2000: 1902 version numbers skipped

    Win2k is not upgrade of win98. It is upgrade of WinNT. Win2k's internal version number is 5.0something. WinNT4 internal version number is 4.0something.

    www.eenadu.net uses dynamic fonts. mozilla does not support dynamic fonts. Possible solution - find appropriate font and install it on your computer. See page with eenadu font.

    I don't know how utf-8 is supported in your country. See Telugu fonts. Firefox (os=winnt) displays test page, if code2000 font is installed. If you are using winxp, you might have Arial Unicode MS font installed. Sites can use unicode to write texts in Telugu.

    maybe this will have to understand problems with that page.

    You are using same rendering engine. I suspect that Scob would get you in Avant Browser too. Same goes to other IE clones.
