    Due to the simplicity of the circuit design, the prototype unit does not discriminate between other sources of 2.4GHz RF, eg. "leaky" microwave ovens, cordless phones, etc.

    Is it just more, or does google never seem to finish anything?
    They announce something, get it in ok working order, and then move on leaving the project in beta.
    It's nice that they keep the new projects rolling, but maybe they should finish gmail, or google suggest, or froogle, or groups, or news!!!
    It seems like the only thing not in beta is their basic and image search functions.

    This is accountability. If they had kept it a secret what the money was going to then no one can be held accountable. But the very fact they released this information is for us (the citizens) to hold the people (our congressmen) responsible for a gross misappropriation of funds.
    How else would you want them held accountable? Thrown in jail for a good idea gone wrong?

    If the person that discovered this comet is pissed that NASA is going to blast a big hole in it. Or pleased that it's going to be used in such a big experiment.

    I work for the DOJ but I bet the Secret Service has something similar.
    Every year they make use go through computer secrurity training where they tell us not to use outside networks, not to foward our emails to out side servers, and generaly not to breach security.
    Do people listen? Nope. Because if they don't understand why they don't listen.
    I know for a fact we encypt all office to office email messages and use a VPN. So it's not for lack of trying.

    Seriously?

    I had no idea they'd become so expensive that they required a credit check just to get one now.

    I personally just have a prepaid phone. Ut cost me like 40$ for the phone and set up and 20 cent a min for what ever I talk (which isn't very much).

    You don't give companies, like t-mobile, personal information like your SSN and DoB that have no need to know it.
    I mean they're a freaking phone company, what do they need your SSN for? Make sure you pay your taxes? Run a credit check?

    Do you have any links to where it is detailed that the RFID will be not only embedded into the item but will be undeactiavatable after purchase?

    What makes you think you won't be able to just remove the RFID tags once you buy the clothing?
    Or do you still have all the anti theft tags only our clothing?
    Personally I can't wait till I can literally walk out of a store at the same time I buy my stuff, no lines, and maybe one can finally buy those embarrassing personal items without getting odd stares from the checkout clerk.

    I'm not sure how other countries handle this.
    But I'm pretty sure that's never happened. Even if agents are playing characters of different genders they would never really be in a position to trap each other since they both play the victim and let the peds come to them.
