I do not think you watched MIB in a long time. They referred to the earth as a inter-galactic neutral political zone. The aliens lived in the same conditions as humans did. In this movie they were restricted to a specific zone. As a formality they required a signature but if they did not get it, the alien would be moved either way. There is a huge difference in living conditions. The alien refugees in MIB had a choice, the aliens in district 9 had none.
Well its a bad situation. The guy should have been fired for committing assault on the customer. More to the point though is this is a cry for money when verizon is not the person who snapped. He should be going after the tech guy for any damages.
Reminds me of a story about a guy who got shot during a test drive and tried to sue the dealership for a circumstance that could not have been foreseen.
I hope microsoft sues them for trademark infringement using clippy on their website. And how does it fit with their xml authoring product now that microsoft must not sell word?

I've had a cat learn how to open a door via the knob without being taught.
I had a cat that did that often. I would close my door when I went to sleep, and I would be woken up by the feeling of my back getting clawed as my cat was making himself comfortable. He learned that he could open the door by using both his paws.
Wolves are not dumb. They do not have that drive to please humans. Wolves tend to be smarter than dogs in terms of survival, escape, hunting, and parenting. Male dogs do not contribute to raising pups, where as male wolves do.
You can see some of the traits in domesticated dogs, those that have a closer resemblence to wolves like german shepherds, huskies, etc.
That depends if the consoles use cheap parts that break from POS(Point of Sale) to 1 year after warranty. I stopped buying xbox 360 games until I bought a new system because the original ate the disks. I have yet to replace my PS3 because I'm still debating to either replace the blu-ray drive myself, through a 3rd party, go through sony, or buy a new PS3.
Yet the laptop I bought for $890 dollars plays all the PC games at decent graphics settings and serves as also my school/work laptop.
the fact that GNU/Linux is superior in every possible way
Not every way...the truth is Linux maybe superior to windows in a lot of ways, but linux isnt as polished as Windows. Most mainstream games need WINE to run on Linux, and even then most dont work out of the box properly or at all.
So to the point. Until Linux can run windows games better than Windows, its not superior. Now MacOS on the other hand is a contender for being almost superior to windows in every way, since it does have some native games that are mainstream but until I can walk into my local store and buy *ANY* computer game and run it on a Mac it wont be in all ways superior.
In my experience, in a modern server PHP uses more CPU than Java. You might be right about slow machines though. I don't understand why you make such a big deal about servlets vs jsp, as jsp is just a technology to ease the construction of servlets (every jsp gets converted into a servlet)... And I don't agree you can't compare PHP to Java, they try to serve the same purpose.
They serve same purpose, but they both werent invented for the same purpose. Out of the two PHP was designed from the ground up to just serve dynamic webpages, and that is its primary purpose. Java on the other hand is designed as an all purpose language.
If you hear news of a 80 foot tall walking robot named Liberty Prime, I would say start walking to your designated vault-tec vault and prepare for the apocolypse.

Your comparison is off. Working at a company that has over 1000 java applications, I can tell you right now that you're so off.
Simple fact, on a slower machine php will outshine java in terms of performance. On a enterprise powerhouse, the performance is about the same give or take based on how both are written.
Its also not a fair comparison to compare java servlets to php. PHP to JSP is a fair comparison and your comparison would still be off base especially with the execution model.
You cant compare PHP to Java on the same playing field as they are just that different.
Or there is another option. He could find a gym that is open later. Most of the IT folks here go to the gym during lunch hour, and then eat after. If you do a minimum of 3 days of cardio work, you should stay in shape and you dont need to spend an ungodly amount of time at the gym.
One of the things I do is when I get home, I dont sit infront of the couch and unwind. I get into my gym clothes and head to the gym for at least an hour.
The problem is we're training our students to be managers because of the outsourcing initiatives by other companies. Thats the direction colleges are seeing and they're modifying their degree programs to give the students an edge by getting them ready for management roles.
I'm currently in school for a BS in IS. Now I remember doing someones work in CS and comparing it to IS, its a whole different ball game. IS is more business focused than CS. The classes I had with databases were more introductions rather than practical implementations, which was basically using MS Access without making queries by hand.
The idea would be to find a power source that can be compact enough to fit easily on the exo. The only thing that can probably supply enough sustained power, that we have today, would be a fission reaction. The problem is it would need tons of shielding along with the coolant, and the pilot might have to be in summer clothing.
people use sonar trying to FIND subs, moron. If the subs aren't there, no sonar.
God, no wonder you went into the military. no other options.
You are the moron. Subs dont use active sonar unless there is no other choice because it reveals their location. Subs use passive sonar 98% of the time. Calling him a moron and having no choice is an assumption based on that you are the moron. Any member on a submarine is not your normal enlisted seaman, they actually have to screen candidates so they can get the job done. Its not some infantry man throwing on some headphones and listening. Also if submarines used active sonar, we would never have news about two subs colliding as they could easily see each other.
Sometimes it is cheaper to buy the game direct from a publisher, or retail outlet. Steam does have price reduction weekends for some games, which is how I bought GTA 4 pretty cheap, but in most cases they sell games at full price. Not a big deal since I will pay the extra 5 dollars if I really want the game.
In the end I'm going to buy the games on steam, unless its not offered there, even if I dont get a discount like publishers offer (ie: EA). I love steam for the pure fact that I can download my games onto another computer, or if I reformat my computer its not a pain to find CDs and install things.
The only flaw I have with Steam is that they dont allow you to tie activation keys to your account. I have a few games that I have valid CD keys, and are games sold on steam, but it wont let me input them into the system and have it added to their content download system. So if I want to use one of the best features of steam, I'd have to purchase it again in the steam system.
Yes but cherry picking facts is where you are wrong. Tigh did have a scar, they showed it multiple times he hides it with a home-made eye patch, its the empty eye socket that is grusome. Lets not forget that Adama's near fatal point blank gunshot by Boomer, where there was a nice shot of the incision going up and down the chest. Lets not forget the beatings Helo's received to the point where he couldnt walk and he was all bloodied. How about Balter at gun point forced to sign a death list. Then there is Anders bleeding from a gunshot to the head. That guy who ran the death squad on New Caprica that was chucked out an airlock. Leoben was only a punching bag cylon to Starbuck who found new ways to grusomely attack him, where as Tigh just poisoned his wife.
Oh and your eye does have pain receptors.
Take the smartest most adept metalurgical expert, put him/her out in the woods with a set of clothes, a tent, a pocket knife, and one friend. Call me when they manage to find enough ore, which they can dig out in sufficient quantity with sticks, to blast into metal which they can then work into a simple thing like a spoon.
Probably not as difficult as your previous example. Making a spoon isnt hard, now if we're talking a spoon with the least amount of impurities I'll agree with you it cant be done so easily.
You also dont need to make a spoon out of metal, you could easily do it with wood.

I've seen this before, make sure you turn on no disasters cheat.
The only difference between the two is that per size, the reactor will be smaller than the needed solar panels.
OP forgot to add that aliens were basically put into internment camps. So that rules out MIB.

Question is will it have an AI so it doesnt need a pilot? If so will it be renamed to Liberty Prime with a mission to free Anchorage?
