I think about this from time to time when messing with changing units. 2 cm squared is 4 cm2 and 4>2. But.02 m squared is.0004 m2 and.0004.02. They both describe the same amounts. I obsessed over this for a while one day until I realized that the relative values of a scaler and an area meant little, but for a while I was really worried.
I agree, but the base mini should only cost $399. If it were a BYODKM equivalent Dell it would come in at $299, so it can still have a "good design" fee attached. The minis are just too expensive as they are.
Aside from the flaming I agree. The moon landings were not done from earth orbit, though they should have been because it would have been practice for other missions. As it was they were only practical for trips to the moon. Though we did learn a ton about spaceflight from them. I am excited at this news, hoping that it will come to fruition.
Buildings are moved all the time, and they're always picked up from the bottom. There's no reason to think that this method would differ (i did not RTFA).
What do you use as the DVR software, and how do you get OTA stuff to the DVR? I hear mixed things about EyeTV, and don't understand why it is so hard to find something with a good built in HD tuner.
Yes it is . . . I could give dozens of examples like the changing ringtone (why wouldn't that be built into iTunes . . . ?) but I'm just going to get rid of the iPhone. I'm glad it came out though, as without it I doubt the current android offerings would be nearly as good. Hell, I might even still be using a RAZR.
If only those 2 year contracts came to an end. I have to wait an entire month . . . Oh that's right, I am thinking to change when my contract is up. Though I am thinking of going from iPhone to DroidX. The iPhone 3G is good, but annoyingly slow, and some of the policies that changed with upgrades to newer iOS don't sit well with me, so I am still running 3.0. The only thing I might miss is the talk and surf which does come in very handy. So I am covered by your number 3. Most of my friends and family have Verizon, and they have all mentioned wanting to switch to the iPhone, so I am not sure your option 1 is very correct, though it may slow the adoption. In my mind that can only help Verizon as it gives the network the opportunity to grow with the demand.
What would be really usefull for master criminals is having two passwords, one) the real password that gives you regular access, and two) the password you give the authorities which when entered essentially wipes the disk. Does anything out there do that?
You make good points, esp. with regard to the current state of EPA regulations in the US there perhaps is no way to do geothermal production. But there certainly are ways to do it and to do it cleanly, even here in the US. We just need to adopt proven models for doing so, adapting them as necessary given the local conditions.
I'm wondering why I would be interested in Google TV. The netflix model is looking really good . . . not the streaming part but the DVD through the mail. I just started watching the Supranos, and when I'm done with that I'm sure there will be seasons of Caprica, SGU and others that I can start on. No commercials, as much as I want to watch. Why would anyone pay for subscription TV anymore? (Though I am thinking to get cable internet at home, which comes with basic cable . . . )
This is insightful? The individuals have their rights regardless of the corporation. The corporation having rights as a person in effect "enhances" the rights of a few people (the owners) beyond their individual rights. That is, the corporation can act illegally, making millions of dollars (to understate it a bit), pass those profits along to the owners, get caught, declare bankruptcy, reorganize, and start again. Oops, I see now from your post below that you have no idea what you are talking about.
I tend to agree. It looks like the max altitude (and perhaps speed) was reached just prior to releasing the tow cable. The flapping may have extended the glide, you can see the cockpit move up on the "flap" but it also sinks when the wings spring back up. I'm not sure what is being done is sustainable flight. I am glad they did this though, as it looks promising, and perhaps they will get to the sustainable flight goal.
You're forgetting that we could just slingshot around the sun. I've seen it in the movies and it works all of the time. After the slingshot maneuver, the velocity would be high enough to catch the track, which further accelerates the payload. The track probably has to then slingshot around the sun too, but these are just details to let the engineers figure out. Visionaries like me and the GP can then move on to better problems. Currently I'm working on a way to speed up my commute by slingshotting around the beltway.
So . . . you're saying that you'd rather live in America than in any of the dozens of war torn countries. Great point. I would rather drive a beater Saab than a Pinto that is in the act of exploding. In the USA we have the potential to have things be very good. We are living way under our potential. Saying that it is wrong to criticize because we have it better than others is incredibly obtuse. Comparing our standard of living to the worst conditions on the planet (some of which we bear some culpability for) to show "how good we have it" is useless at best. The only way we can improve our lives is through active and constructive criticism of what is going on. Pointing out absurdities in the system is true patriotism.
Of course he did. But that is not honesty in business . . . the subtle difference being if Zynga issued a corporate statement with this information it would be honesty in business. Former employees issuing the statement is not. See the difference?
Hopefully they will be more enlightened than you. I am older than you (I'm guessing) and your sweeping generalization about what my generation's view on life without tv would be is absurd.
The thing looks good, but is limited to 3G bandwidth. From my experience this means that streaming video will be pretty annoying to watch when compared to what the cable offering looks like.

I've had an HP 15C since 1987 and have changed the batteries once (about 3 years ago). RPN for the win!

The whole getting rid of Dick Cheney policy.
You should try riding a bike some day.
Truly. He even put up a Rick Roll.

You know I think this every time I walk off a cliff.
This is at least as insightful as it is funny and true. Clearances are as much about control as they are security.

Your sig and your post are at odds. Maybe want to rethink one of them.

I thought they ran on dead kittens, and that Bob Barker was anti magnet.
