And two of those from the US are for legal reasons and the other two are from 1908. The fact is that USA has always had more freedom of speech than any European country, and still does today. Limiting access to a book or movie is not the same thing as banning it outright. Any person over 17 that really wants to see this movie will have no trouble doing so.
I am finding the trend to require an insanely fast machine to watch / record tv sightly odd. Without someone out there to create a unit out there that makes it easy to view HD content - and by easy, I mean "dear old mom and dad" easy
"Dear old mom and dad" don't use a pc to watch TV they use a TV and a cable box. It's quite easy to get a HD cable box or even HD tivo with 300+GB of storage.
I doubt they meant the mains. Semiconductor processing labs use highly toxic and highly explosive gases. Some examples include silane, germane, arsine, phosphine, etc...
These gases are very toxic (i.e. you'd be dead before you noticed a leak), but they're also pyroforic (i.e they self-ignite when exposed to air). A small leak in a small gas cylinder could lead to an immediate fire, and could trigger a catastrophic explosion of the gas cylinder. It's doubtful that even an advanced fire-supression system could deal with a significant leak from any one of these gases.
"when will New Zealand surpass California in flim making"
Ah, the infamous unintentional Simpsons reference. To paraphrase:
New Zealand must be hot. They don't need a big ad, or even correct spelling. ...I agree with that logic.
Get me two plane tickets to the continent that New Zealand is in.
The title says the Milky Way is not a spiral, and the post goes on to say it is a barred spiral. But the wikipedia link starts with "A barred spiral galaxy is a spiral galaxy..."
So the title should be: "The Milky Way is a Spiral."
Even another step past that, he's confusing a 'personal computer' with computers in general. I'm a research in semiconductor devices but I rarely 'use' the computer in my office. It's only function is to write papers, check email, and surf the internet. However computers run all the equipment in the lab, and run all the simulations for the theoretical people.
I think the grandparent is using a computer for the wrong things or using it in the wrong way. Stop playing so much solitaire, and stop emailing so many people.
Not sure what you mean. All HD content that I know of is presented in 16:9, if it's 4:3 then it's probably not HD.
You probably meant to say that most programming on HD channels is not offered in HD, but there is a pretty substantial amount. Almost all of the primetime shows on all the major networks are presented in HD (except reality shows and cartoons). Conan O'brien just had his first HD broadcast last night and it looked pretty good. Most major sporting events on the networks are also in HD.
Typical photoresists are less sensitive to yellow light, maybe it's safer (for the lithography steps) to just have the whole fab in yellow light rather have separate photo areas.
My mom threw out my shoebox filled with old electrical engineering journals last year. And I'm positive I a had a mint-condition copy of the '65 Electronics.
This sounds as if you could end up paying full income tax in the state your company is in, plus full taxes in your own state - because your local state will consider you a full-time resident (since you do live there full time).
This is not true, technically you are considered a full-time resident of only one state. However you pay taxes to each state that you worked in. Every state I know of give you credit for income that was earned in other states. This case is only ambiguous because the guy wasn't physically in the state where he was earning income. However, I would still say he should pay NY state taxes, it seems like a cheap technicality that he works from home 75% of the time. If anyone wanted more money I would expect it to be the guy's home state vs. NY, he's just trying to cut corners.
The USA does not continue to use land mines. International export of land mines from the US was banned in 1992. Land mines are used to protect the Korean border, but new mines are not being layed.
See, everyone says this, but all the anecdotes are particularly short on details.
Why do people that have never been scammed by Paypal always say this? Do you really think all these people are making it up? The problem is paypal is gives too much protection to buyers and never believes honest sellers. I sold a camera on paypal, sent to a verified address with USPS delivery confirmation. Several months later the buyer used a chargeback (after they left the country), and paypal took that money from my account. I gavem the all the proof they asked for, but they still decided against me.
You know this switch was coming sooner or later. AMD already does a lot of their serious R&D at IBM. They'll be the same company within 5 years.
So did Nature fix the errors it found?
Here's a few more examples if you need them:
UK: 91 Films Banned
Finland: 867 Films Banned
USA: 4 Films Banned

Nice, the guy survived a major hurricane and you had to blow up his servers. Where's the compassion?

Because when Cyberdyne sends a robot assassin back in time to kill our leader, it needs to look like us so it can fit in and gain our trust.
I think the submitter meant hand tremor not hand tumor, but maybe both would cause problems.

Will this also work on paralyzed people?

You DO have a keyboard. The XBOX controller ports are USB, just plug in a usb keyboard (with some minor modifications).
