If it takes more than twice as much fuel, then is it worth it to the environment? I hate that they keep telling me that my car is a huge source of pollution, yet burn thousands of gallons of fuel to launch a satellite, land a robot on mars, etc.
The same can be said about any new technology. Take the HD-DVD. Any old movies will not look perceptably better in HD, there is the need to re-create your DVD Library, and the price of new movies will be higher, due to early-adopter tax.
I do not see a company which is going to completely rebuild their infrastructure for Vista, unless there is an absolute need to. The hardware costs alone are going to be substantial, not to mention migrating applications from NT4. It's just not going to happen overnight. 2008 seems about when most users would start adopting it.
you mean the Bob Jones University whose Nondiscriminatory Policy states:
Students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin are admitted to all the rights, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Bob Jones University. The University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in its administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Yeah, but now you'll have to buy thirty different fuel cells for all of your gadgets. Make portable mains power. I'd have no problem carrying that around, and it would make a great joy-buzzer.
So A private institution can make blacks drink from seperate water fountains? Can they say, "No spics, please". Can they disallow women from the sciences? You are either trolling, naive, or just plain fucking retarded. Re-read your post, and clarify.
That might be what Capitalism is about, but it ins't going to work that way. First person on the moon that can stay can have as much land as he needs, until they build rocketships large enough to carry a battalion of tanks there.
Remember, before capitalism comes colonization, and it is seldom peaceful.
Don't you think that there is a bigger plan in the works, rather than just a little bit of money here? Like a lot of money? Google is planning the Os in the web, not the OS of the web. Firefox's very open API will only help them, and hurt microsoft. Why pay for windows, when any os that will run firefox will work? Even BeOS could be viable. Even a stripped down PC with no HDD and a knoppix cd, or a PXE machine will work.
Google doesn't want to control the OS, they want to marganilize it, even eliminate it. It's going to get interesting from here on in.
I would have just made a 4 lens camera. Use software to stitch it together, and don't tell anyone that you're missing two rows of pixels. They're going to have to show the image on 16 HDTV's, so nobody will notice anyways.
When the Sun goes supernova, all you water suckers are going to be boiled to death, and us space rats will just freeze to death. How do you want to go? I'd rather be frozen than boiled alive myself.
Ultimately, the industry megacorporations will tank (well, the music industry will, but movies are much harder to make than music)
But just as easy to steal.
(a la SPECTRE) Mr. MPAA, you back down now, or I will proceed to show one feature release publically in the city center of 100 major cities to an audience of millions. How many movies CAN you make that everybody sees for free?

I hope that you've got luck on your side, because you should never start a land war in Asia.
Wow, now that was a shameless plug! But that's the most eyecandy I've seen in a Risk clone. Kudos on that.
Call Newman and Kramer. And can someone program an API to find my keys?
Wow, and I thought my tinfoil beanie was tight. I'm having flashbacks to Johnny Mnemonic. Thank you for that, I'm off to wash my brain with bleach.
By the way, I think that you're right.
So they research things that have been thouroughly investigated? No wonder why there's nothing new being built in the U.S.
Leibeniz? Bah. A bloody hack. He couldn't derive his way out of a burlap sack. He never invented anything.
I. Newton
So what's the reason we have them again?

There is a limit to power.
Just a wild guess, but I'd say no.

Congress did not make the law.

I always thought that Pepsi would carve their logo into the moon.

They could just stand on each other's shoulders like they did in the kung fu movies.

All of them.
Maybe they're just using Clown Car bits?
Now that is funny.

If that's the only inaccuracy in that movie, I don't want live to see the future.
