That would actually not be a bad idea as many would think.
In fact, many pages on the internet are made with all the quirks of IE in mind, having access to a browser you can use in certain situations is never wrong, and it blending in with the rest of the desktop is nice. Especially nice is adding tabs and other nice features.
Well, it's not like you can't do it now anyway, Wine is pretty powerful.
I found out the URI of the magic page that contained the pre-load button (or was it what the button pointed to?)... too bad I didn't write it down, it looked something like this:
steam://preload/...
I'm sure about the steam prefix, less sure about the preload, and sure that there was a number in the end.
So that's what you do with them

Banana Power!

What do you do with rotten bananas, assuming you don't have 1337 5k1ll2 in baking banana bread?
The game was developed by ZedTwo under the name "Pillage". Many of those involved with the game still refer to it as that. The changed to "Future Tactics" was due to someone else (Warthog or the Publisher) and came in very soon before release.
Name changed by publishers, another -1
And PS2, GC and PC last time I heard. I know I own the GC version.
All I can say is that you have some very bizarre criteria for enjoying a game. I'm not even going to address any but your most ludicrous assertion: If a game is released for the XBox it's automatically less enjoyable. That's completely nonsensical. You'll only enjoy games that are released for the PS2 and GameCube? What if it's ported to the XBox later, like GTA3? Does your PS2 version start sucking after that? (Hmm, you know, I guess you have a point. GTA3 did suck on the PS2 once the superior XBox version was released (and I don't even own either one of those consoles))
Well... hm, I've never heard of a good SRPG for the XBOX. I've actually not heard of any at all! The same goes for the developed in not-Japan argument:) Well, the XBOX argument might sound silly, which it is, I just don't like the XBOX:)
And if you wonder, I think SRPGs are more suited for portable consoles... oh, and I like them 2D too, and not isometrical...
Based on your idea of "negatives" I can only assume you'd be happy simply seeing the same game made over and over again (probably Final Fantasy). You certainly haven't left much room for variety.
Rather Fire Emblem, and I wouldn't mind at all seing the same game over and over (at least if it was FE4;)), random maps would be great fun! And for Final Fantasy... I'm sad to say that I haven't played any since 9:/ And I don't like FFT at all.
Hmm, I guess you could say that I like SRPGs that are like the Fire Emblem games, which is not wrong at all as the first game invented the genre.
It's a SRPG, starting score 8. 3D graphics, -1. Includes the word 'Tactics' in the title, -1. Not Japan-developed, -1. For the XBOX, -1. Aliens, -1. All characters have ranged weapons?, -1. Final score: 2... quite sub-par.
I don't think I'm going to like it, couldn't find a single point that sounded interesting. Sorry, SPRGs are supposed to be pseudo-medieval with lots of swords and magic;)
Hehe, I hate the guy that gave it 9, how can you give a game such a bad score just because you can't understand japanese is beyond me. There are even translations available.
Burning pirated games is not the thing to do nowadays. Pirates instead download a CD image and mount it. With Linux it's no problem, and for Windows you can use something like Daemon Tools.
It's not really that bad, it depends on what is protected though, it seems as a password is optional in this case.
Where I work everyone has put up post-its with their username/passwords, of course, that is only the computer login, you can't really do much without another password... which is probably put up somewhere too. I remember borrowing someone's password once because my account didn't work, I got the password on a post-it:)
> You'd need to convert the build process to use Microsoft's tools.
It's already supported by default, just find some guide on how to set all the tools and paths up and you can compile away.
> Hasn't this wheel already been invented many many times?
No big deal, I write a new logger for every project I write, it's a simple 5 minute hack.
Nothing wrong with Goatse, however, other people (your boss) may have a differing opinion.
Thus the term 'work-safe' was founded, Goatse isn't really work-safe.
3-D? Super? Please, that just sounds goofy.
Call it something like GigaBuddy Icons XP 2000 and I'll buy it.
Will we be seing something like the Scopes Trial or has the world changed?

OK, I'm never eating banana bread again.
The question is... can you survive a 'Funny' karma loop
Um, Neverwinter Nights?
Certainly not, even the beginning of the story had me, when it said 'soldiering' I got a little confused and had a second look.
:X
But really, NASA running some space soldier program would be no surprise
I don't think you understand what /. is *really* about.
How's that yellow tint going to look
Oh, that's easy, the opposite of yellow is blue, just use blue glass!
Cloudscape (originally created by Informix, and purchased by IBM in 2001) has been valued by IBM at $85M
My notepad clone has been valued by me at $186M!!
Both have made some of the buggiest games ever... But still, they have made some of the best games ever...
:)?
Imagine them working together, will we see more bugs or a better game
Not the first time... and certainly not the last ;)

... gotta catch 'em all ;)

First some info about the game: http://reviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/749/Future-Tactic s-The-Uprising/p1
;)
Hm, let's see, how would I like this?
It's a SRPG, starting score 8.
3D graphics, -1.
Includes the word 'Tactics' in the title, -1.
Not Japan-developed, -1.
For the XBOX, -1.
Aliens, -1.
All characters have ranged weapons?, -1.
Final score: 2... quite sub-par.

Seems as if they only played games released in America, that could explain why they didn't put FE4 in #1.
Oh well, I'll bring out my super-proof that it's teh bestest gaem evar11!~
Yarr

You will get IP banned if you post as AC :/
:)
Just one failed funny post is enough, my last one reallly failed, and I got banned for at least 3 days, possibly more.
I hope I can post now
