    It is not the individuals burden to prove that the machine is faulty, it is the burden of the manufacturer and the police to PROVE that it works as stated.

    Incorrect. Where I live (Central Florida by the way) if you challenge a ticket and fail, you can receive the full fine, points on your license, and court costs. It's the last one that gets you, as the cost is often $500 or more.

    This is a bullshit copout. The math didn't cure anything, and it has nothing to do with literal or not. It has to do with reality. They gave theses patients a TREATMENT, of which a small part was a suggestion made by this model, which resulted in a cure.

    You know, this is the one that bothers me the most. I have to be honest when I say that I expect a certain amount of graft in politics. My problem is that is takes SO MUCH corruption to take down a politician these days, that it's practically impossible to do.

    As much as I love America, I'll be leaving because of this. IfI'm going to have my money taken by corrupt officials, I'll have it done in a country where I can hand it to them myself.

    The point you miss is that Americans have the OPTION of selecting what health care they have. It is a choice that a government entity providing the same service does not give.

    People sound silly claiming one is better than the other.

    They also sound silly claiming that a government entity provides "excellent" care. Maybe it's true, but frankly I doubt it. I find too many credible accounts of beuracracy and waste in Canadian government for me to believe the care is as good as you claim.
