Apple watch was a solution looking for a problem that doesn't exist.

Not really. The "problem" is that smartphones are big, and getting bigger. It's much easier to have a thing on your wrist to get/send text or phone calls. Think of smartwatches as just an interface to your smartphone, which can stay in your purse or pocket 90% of the time. Just because you are a minimalist and don't have the imagination to see potentials, doesn't mean that everyone is, and that just because you don't see something as a problem doesn't mean it's not a problem for all people. Also, not every product needs to be a solution to a "problem". I don't believe for a second that every single thing you own is utilitarian and nothing more.

We also need term limits, campaign finance reform, special interest reform, all sorts of reform. This country has turned into a pile of shit politically. I was really hoping Sanders would get the nomination because he was the only one who seems to understand the amount of broken-ness in Washington. Fuck Hillary for taking his spot. Yeah, the same "educated" people who think misogyny, xenophobia, racism, and tax fraud are tolerable traits for a President, and that making a person with those traits, and who espouses those ideals, with no political experience, and obvious sociopathic tendencies the most powerful man in the world seems like a good idea and will somehow improve the country or the planet.

If you voted for Trump that makes you a racist fascist misogynist, because you are condoning and approving of his behavior and rhetoric and you put him into power, which will only lead to more racism, fascism and misogyny. I'll also throw in the word "stupid" too because, well, it's pretty stupid to make someone like Trump the most powerful man in the world. And for what? Money? So sad. I don't care if you vote for Trump a hundred times, I will keep calling you racist misogynistic homophobic fascists because that's what you are and people like you are a detriment to the entire planet. I'm sure you'll say "durr, but you're intolerant too hypocrite" and that's even sadder that you don't see the distinction, because it means you will probably live your entire pathetic life without ever figuring it out.

Don't be such a blind hater, innovation comes in many forms and Apple has consistently produced unique, usable, desirable products for decades. None of the products in GPs post are a clone of anything. If you're going to get pedantic and say a product is a copy of something else if it has some of the same basic elements, then everything is a copy of something else including whatever product you think is innovative. All of those products listed changed the paradigm, and no other company has a track record like that.

Better than rage-energy is to learn how to not get angry in the first place, and solve your problems with clear rational thought. Sure, positive rage-energy is still better than negative rage-energy but ultimately a state of calm-mind is even better.

  25. Re:E-Vent on Sending Angry Emails Just Makes You Angrier · · Score: -1

You are exactly right. It's like parents who tell their kids to beat up a pillow or something if they're angry, to let it all out. All that does is reinforce the anger-violence cycle, and does nothing to teach a child how to deal with anger. Anger is pretty much the worst thing for solving any sort of problem as it puts you into fight/flight mode and shuts down the thinking parts of your brain. I would go so far as to say this is an epidemic in global society/culture.
