For instance, I much prefer to setup a proper.procmailrc with Spamassassin, ClamAV and Anomy by hand, than relying on AmaVis. Nothing wrong with amavis, but what does it do for me that I can't do myself with less efford and higher confiability? I also prefer to edit a phonebook.txt then using some contact management software, use the least possible libraries when coding, etc. KISS!

But some equipment broke, and at some time they starting improvising some acoustic percussion, and they even managed to make a funky sound, people started dancing, and some even joined the band. Feeling that a big booooom bass was missing, I started jumping on the wooden floor, marking the bOOm-bOOm-bOOm-bOOm.. it was very fun.:P
The AVS visualization plugin is really nice. I would like very much to see it ported to Linux. Or some Linux viz (XMMS or whatever) that is compatible with AVS presets.
Oh, and it plays video well. Works almost as well as Windows Media Player, and the interface is waaaaaay better.
Remember iD's Wolf3D? The simulation is plain 2D. The same gameplay, with smipler graphics. Maybe one color for each kind of stuff (walls, items, diferent enemies), getting darker when farther, lighter when closer..
What about creating a FPS that takes place in Flatland? The game window could be a few pixels tall, just a horizontal line above (or below) the screen. You could play unoticed!:D
I never used ectasy, but marujuana gives dry mouth too. Not only by smoking it, spacecake (or even a THC pill, if such a thing exists) as well.
It's stupid to keep drinking water. You're not thristy, it's just your mouth that's dry. I suspect it's the salivation system gets inhibited by the drug.
So, what you have to do is to excite the salivation system: chocolate does good. Amazingly, some dry cookies works very well, you feel the water (saliva, really:) to sprout (is that the correct word? I took it from the babelfish..) from your mouth abundantly.

I do love vegetables (and fruits), and I cook almost only with them. But that doesn't need to turn me into a vegetarian. I still like meat very much. It IS natural to eat meat.
I also do not like ME. I dualboot to 98SE to play games. It's just that a friend of mine have hacked ME to boot really fast. As for Microsoft support.. who cares? As long as the games runs fine, and they do, it's ok.

If you dual boot only to play games, so why Windows XP? 98 or ME will play all the games, and boots soooooo much faster (and if you're dual booting, boot time is important.
Back in the day I used DOS, 4DOS (a COMMAND.COM shell replacement) was the number one must-have software. Simple, small, clean, fast, and with all the features a power user want, even more that you could dream of. I even prefer its TAB completion over bash. It was incredibly productive.
