Personally, when I first read about the double-slit experiment, it reminded me of short-circuiting in if statements, so I can see the appeal of this line of thought. But I think it's silly to purposefully investigate it rather than simply wait and see what we can deduct from the ToE, if and when we figure it out. Personally, when I first read it, it reminded me of dropping acid.
I was not allowed to have a toy gun as a kid, now that toy guns are illegal in Australia I have become obsessive about their acquisition.
I feel I would not have this dangerous hobby if my parents (like the parents of my friends) allowed me to have a toy gun as a kid.
let the kids play, play lets them learn the most valuable lessons at a stage where the consequences are minimal. play is the key word here, you play games.
First of all, I truly enjoy my work, and working efficiently increases my personal satisfaction with the job at hand.
It also allows me to CHARGE MORE MONEY PER HOUR.

what ever happened to exploiting young nerdy kids fresh out of highschool? they work for a pittance and have more energy.

oh, but something DODGE happened when I was in Akasaka, I was walkin' around (just walkin around) then a japanese boy who was handing out modems comes up to me and he can speak fluent english.. hes like:
punk - "hey, wanna sign up for yahoo! BB?"
me - "nah, I already got it.."
punk - "do you like it?"
me - "yeah I love it!"
punk - "can you cancel your current plan and join up again with me? I have 2 more contracts to fill to meet todays quota!"

And the modem they use has a card slot for 802.11!
that was the main selling point for me, that and the cute girls handing out the damn things @_@
