All of that is prediction, how can something "probably be the best launch title out there" if it's not even been released for the general public?
Less hype please, you can't call something a "Great game" until you've played it, unless you're a media puppet.
And everyone knows sequels can be absolutely abysmal, we won't know anything until the actual system is released. Does anyone remember the hype for Halo, which was nothing more than a glorified generic FPS?
I hear a lot of people saying that things like this are due to corporate sponsorship of senators and such. Why don't they amend the constitution to ban corporations funding senators and presidents and such, effectively stopping the corporations from steering the country in their best interests?
Surely they don't need thousands and thousands of dollars to pay for campaigns etc. Don't they have enough tax dollars for this? Or would they have enough tax dollars if they weren't waging meaningless wars on the other side of the planet?
I know your joking, but in most dystopian sci-fi I've seen or read, the future "drug" of choice is some kind of technological device. Especially in the anime (nerd alert!) Serial Experiments Lain.
Local lawmakers say they plan to deploy teams of officers to check on popular internet spots. Those found playing games after midnight will be told to leave, while cafe owners who ignore the rules face having their licenses withdrawn.'"
You are blowing it out of proportion. Over half of the summary specifies cafes and the like.

I know slashdot is hardly the pinnacle of good reporting, but that summary is bordering on the idiotic. Were those daft little bits of meaningless fluffy non-humour put in there simply to up the word count?
Most companies do the same. If you don't like their practices, go elsewhere. If they all work like that, do without. An internet connection, like a car or nice clothes, is a privelege--not a right.

The habit is more of an issue than the addiction to the drug. Nicotine is relatively weak addiction-wise, people simply get used to smoking at particular times. I smoke, and when I don't have one for a few days I start fiddling, tearing labels off bottles, eating sweets etc. The drug itself isn't a problem, if that's all we wanted, the patches and gum are a more efficient delivery system (and damn cheaper)
I play FFXI (Final Fantasy MMORPG) and at least half of my friends list is female, and over half of the "linkshell" (like a guild thingy) must be female.
79% of my MSN contact list is female.
My MOTHER, who is an eBay queen and 'leet warez haxor' is, so I'm told, a female.
My three best geek pals (web design guru, game master, anime queen) happen to be female.
Not to mention my little sister, who has a veritable LEGION of friends who are constantly online.
I wonder what internet this daft tart lives on? Or is she just perpetuating a sterotype that no longer applies just to get a moment in the spotlight?

"Analytics is also built to integrate with AdWords if you are already utilizing that service."
Doesn't 'utilizing' mean using a tool for something other than it's intended purpose, i.e. "I utilised a screwdriver to prop the window open"?
Shouldn't the word be using?
If you are capable of walking your child to school three times a week, you're bloody capable of doing it every day.

Considering these standards are hardly new, no.
GMT is not the same as UTC, kind of.
GMT is when time in England is the same as UTC, which is only six months of the year. The other six months we're on BST, which is British Summer Time.
Craziness. But they are hardly confused, at least not here in soggy England.
