That's absolutely true. It's kind of like compression artefacts: when you know what to listen for, you hear it every time.
Though of course, there's probably a lot who use it so slightly I don't notice it.. which is OK by me. I was wondering though, does Autotune use simple pitch/time shifting, or does it shift formants too? Might be easier to avoid the strangeness of autotuning that way.
I can't remember what it's called, but Sanyo had some interesting futuristic plans for solar panels installed in the world's deserts (or similar places). Having them spread around the world would mean that power is available around the clock, with some converstion to other forms of energy of course.
It's also easier to react quickly if you fill more of your vision field with the important information. Large things give stronger response than small things.
if you want to invest the time, you can fiddle with it and make it look good
The problem with foobar2K for me isn't that it's interface looks bad. In fact I think it has a very configurable interface. The big problem is that it isn't a user interface. When foobar2K is comprehensible for mortals, I'll consider it again.
It's not about audio quality, it's that you can get the same thing is less space. More efficient compression, that's all. (though you can think of it in terms of audio quality too, if you want)
AAC isn't Apple's format, it's an MPEG standard that they just like to use. Anyway, it's a lot better than crusty old MP3 files, though perhaps not the best.
Basically you need to choose between AAC and Vorbis, not MP3 and Vorbis. MP3 is almost ten years older.
So you get a number of permutations per box, times a lot of boxes, gives a large number of bits. But all those permutations of dots in boxes correspond to permutations of dots looking at the whole sheet of paper. I don't see how you win anything, it's still just a number of dots==bits on the paper regardless of 3x3 boxes?
Ah yes, the stereotypical story of a Finnish guy and Some Other Guy.
SOG starts conversation and steps up close. Finn takes a step back. SOG moves forward during conversation. Finn inches backward during conversation. And so the subtle dance continues down the corridor, completely subconsciously.
Sure, it's not like LaTeX is incredibly difficult or anything. But with LyX you can do all that, but with quick shortcuts, better overview of what you're doing, and without the manual coding, i.e more accessible.
Also, LyX isn't WYSIWYG, it's WYSIWYM:). That's the real beauty of it.
Not quite. If you remove copyright and patents, Microsoft's power would probably not be as immense. In fact, it could probably work. On average. Most of the time it would suck though.
I'm also highly sceptical of the alleged Sony.tactic of creating artificial demand. I think they simply don't have much choice: get out there now or lose even more market.

..and if you turn the backlight off, it'll last forever. I recharged my cell phone more often!

You have to create one yourself. Just make sure to deploy a radically decentralized dev-team framework too, with superior identity-related defocus.

Why did I just think of goatse?
So? Anything wrong with not wanting to make a flop?
How do you mean it works for Japanese? Korean input doesn't work the same way.

No, it should be: Yes, No, and File Not Found.

I think you're the one who's weird, no?

It is enlightened: enforcement of free market. There's no arbitrary size limit on companies, they just can't wreck the market!
Why not use LyX? GUI TeX without the hassle. I just finished a paper with it, and damn, it's easy to use.
I thought this had been beat into everyone's head for years already? Don't tell me people have forgotten that Microsoft has monopoly power??
