At MIT they intentionally avoid this. However I will say that the actual material we learn at MIT is (well, depends on the class really) no more advanced than the material I studied at Wayne State University while in high school. The difference, of course, being the number of options and the environment.
Still, the bigger name degree will always stick out at an interviewer. In my opinion, the FP might as well transfer (or try to transfer) to a more elite school, if he can.
I really don't think any of this, on the side of Islam or Christianity, has too much to depend on religion. Religion was just a way to justify the wars in pretty much all counts. Take the 30 years war - Religion may have been the spark, but it was still all about land and power.
In the meantime, maybe they can make some Indiana Jones titles - we haven't had a good one since Fate of Atlantis, and there's real promise in for a game like Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb - which is the most recent Indy game we've had and that came out years ago. If they could just get a game to be as good as Tomb Raider II..
Its for desktops selling within the retail channel. And Intel does have around 80 market share overall - its just that this past week AMD machines outsold Intel for some reason.
I've been waiting for this. On my table with a glass plate on top, I have to use a mouse pad for my optical mouse, but I don't need one for my regular mouse. This technology actually serves the purpose an optical mouse should.
If you only need a few blurbs, just use Amazon's search inside the book. For most of the papers I wrote last school year, I never checked out books at all - I simply searched inside the books on Amazon, took down notes and quotes from many books (a lot of them hard to find), and put the books down my Works Cited page.
If this starts becoming a common thing in courts, wouldn't people realize that their text messages are being screened and intentionally make misleading comments in them? It's so easy to do - I don't see how text messages can be admissible in a court of law.
this may be true...but HTML is like the step in between plain text and all out programming - it may not be programming, but its still coding. I might suggest teaching HTML basics and then trying out javascript.
So you could start with something like:
Whatever This is my webpage
and then try to use javascript to do things
of course, the alternative there is just to use java, which is an excellent introduction to object-oriented design.
What happens on individual weblogs? A lot of those are for news too. And like any weblog, Entries are posted on slashdot, to which the community can post comments.
..ends with crowds of middle schoolers posting pointless inside jokes.
I have been very impressed with./'s moderation system, though. Plus Slashdot allows anyone to post what they want - so it can be read for humor and for knowledge. Entertaining and informative.
And what about the Cantina scene from A New Hope? I don't see you complaining about that?...at least the Cantina band played good music though. And the CGI dude from the Diner looked like a muppet.
I took the test yesterday; my first this year but 10th overall. It is the first year that they've told you that you can't talk about the multiple choice questions. Funny: on the test they didn't say 'legal action may be taken against you', they said 'legal action may be taken against you for copyright infringement'. Its copyright infringement to talk about something?
Incidentally, the test was really easy (I finished the free response in 45 minutes out of 95 - most of the programs could be done in 5 or 6 lines). And I'd never really done anything with Java, I just studied the Princeton Review book a couple nights before hand. I highly recommend that book. I did already know programming though: and to those who have been discussing this, the AP test does indeed place more emphasis on logic etc. rather than a specific language (Java) itself.
TROLL. This is stolen from the Terry Pratchett book "Soul Music", in which to protaganist's name is Susan, but she tells people that her name is Sus3an, but the 3 is silent.
Actually, I should add: the best thing one gets from going to a top-notch school is the connections and networking opportunities.

On the other hand, Nobel Prize winners teach the 100 level classes at MIT.
Um...in other words, maybe you should wait five years for a computer fast enough to play this game to exist.
Your biggest problem here is that your computer is too slow.
(not to say there's no bugs).
Maybe you should wait five years in order to buy a computer fast enough to play the game.
You seem to miss the obvious sarcasm..

What about a new game based off of GTA3? Think about it, Star Wars is the best galaxy ever to be a badass in...
If only GL would go for something like that

You didn't download the right file.
The file we're all talking about is indeed a trailer. You downloaded a segment of Access Hollywood. And the trailer is more like 40 seconds long.
hmmm...there's 200 connected peers with 0% downloaded and 0 connected seeds on this torrent. And I was wondering why it was taking so long.
This is a video that was leaked ages ago, not the trailer.
It was a TEASER TRAILER, not the FULL TRAILER. Star Wars teasers in fact show much more than teasers from most other movies.

Easy. (thank you Jeff Bezos)
Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks.
