I would hate to be the one using a mouse on a glass surface less than 4mm thick. It would probably break very easy. Some specs are kind of useless. Like linux supporting thousands of processors hehe.
Is it just me and a few other people, or is this becoming common. I am really getting sick of facebook. I don't really use it as much as I used to. There are just too many things that I don't rally like. It would be nice to know if there are others that have quit or slowed their use of facebook.
When my phone dies it doesn't have enough battery left to start it up again. Maybe it could last like half a second. This would be useless if your phone battery was already dead because you would not be able to power it on long enough to go into emergency mode. It can help sometimes but would be nice if you could set it to emergency mode before the phone even turns on.
I am a senior in chemistry. I have taken all the chemistry courses, including inorganic chemistry. With Inorganic chemistry the lowest elements on the periodic table e used were the 2nd row, occasionally a third row element. We by no means have to memorize them. I do know some teachers of gen. chem. that require students to memorize the first 16. Some may even want the first 36. Asking to memorize the entire periodic table is kind of crazy, since most of the higher elements nobody will ever use unless they decide to work for CERN or some other extremely specialized field of chemistry.
I feel like Nintendo spent more time on making the wii revolutionary than they spent on making the wii the next big box with a ton of processors and a good graphics chip. That wasn't the purpose of the wii. The Wii was made to be something different. It was different and it is fun. I suspect that there will be another "wii" that hasthe graphics that are appreciated.
I think the only way that piracy can be significantly lowered is by making the software less expensive, and by making the measures taken to make piracy difficult. If it is more difficult to crack the game than it is to just buy it, then it comes to a point where people would rather just go out and buy the thing rather than deal with cracking it all the time.
Companies say that piracy drives their costs up. If they thought right then it should drive the prices down. People pirate because they aren't wiling to pay the price in stores. Instead they pay the price in time by cracking the software.
Find the point where you can get more people to buy your product and making piracy of the product hard enough, and you will be able to lower piracy significantly.
Don't most kids these days have cell phones?
I really don't see this being very effective It isn't that hard to move with a 21 pound ball.
It would prevent most physical types of activities, but just sitting around or moving the ball to the TV and watching TV really isn't going to be very difficult.
It'd be great as a car alarm / defense system, one click of a button and the car changes from a Ferrari into a Robin Reliant (let's face it no-one's going to steal one of those)
There are plenty of old people that are kind of crazy. The idea of them having their own little old people gun is kind of scary. If they kill somebody they really don't have much to lose since they are so old they are probably going to die soon anyways. I really think this is a bad idea. It is a good way to possibly cause a lot of problems. On the upside old people are a target for several crimes and this could potentially help them
Driving slower can help improve your gas mileage when there are a lot of stops. For example if you drive 10 blocks and you get up to 45mph and have to stop you will use more gas than if you only got up to 30mph and then stopped.
A clip of the stunt has been posted on YouTube where it has become an internet hit with nearly 180,000 viewers to date.
It has become much more popular now that its on /.

If he doesn't have all the best gear then I wouldn't say he has beaten it yet. But that is quite an achievement what he has done.

Here is a neat article explaining more about sunspots http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2009/01apr_deepsolarminimum.htm?list56376/ It talks about the cycle in sunspots.

Its actually Reliant Robin not Robin Reliant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reliant_Robin
On a side note, why does the hand in the picture look nothing like an old person's hand?

Hopefully the dead rising from the grave won't happen or else the RIAA might start a more vigorous lawsuit campaign in suing even more dead people http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/02/05/riaa_sues_the_dead/
