GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE hey AC - thanks for catching my mistake. Too bad you had to be rude and obnoxious. Looks like we have a "bastard of the day" winner, people!
Or, as Apple has already suggested, wait for someone to make one. It's coming.
I agree with you. Apple has a tendency to let third-party manufacturers come up with a number of the accessories. They tend to avoid accessories unless it's a quality/brand issue to them.
I use a Mac at home, but I purchased the Linksys WRT54G router for my wireless network instead of the Apple Airport Extreme. It was recommended by a Mac friend who has more experience with technology than myself. The following is great news...
After the welcome screen, the Assistant inquired politely as to whether I wished to set up my Express to create a new wireless network, or connect to my current wireless network.
It's a nice bit of Journalism, which makes for a good read, but I couldn't help thinking it would next inquire politely... "Would you like some coffee while you wait for the set up to finish"?
Also, to my dismay, the Express did not include any audio cables for hooking it up to a stereo.... The AirPort Express Stereo Connection Kit with Monster Cables and an AC power cord is available separately from Apple for US$39.
They offer it separately, and I think that's the point. The idea is to stream music wirelessly, and many people are going to buy it for that reason. If Apple adds the Connection Kit to the AirPort Express, the overall price goes up some, for an item I would guess most people do not need/want. If you absolutely have to have a wired connection, then hey, they have that accessory available as a separate product.
For even more laughs, read what LoudMusic had to say at the time as well. Note LM recieved a +4 Insightful at the time, so LM was by no means alone in thinking the iPod would be a bust.

Your "Buy at a low price or dont buy at all" amounts to lying down and doing nothing while the music companies raid your bank account.
Your entire post is fuzzy logic at best, but the line above is hysterically moronic.
How is "not buying at all" creating a situation where the music companies are raiding your bank account? If you don't buy, they don't get a penny. Argh... and to top it all off, you're actually getting an "Insightful" rating. I guess that blows the "group think" label a previous poster accused the/. moderation system of creating.
I can't speak for the recent version, but I remember when MS rolled out Office 2000. Our office didn't plan on upgrading from Office 97, there was just no perceived need. Everything application in Office 97 did what we needed.[p]Then our customer upgraded their computers and their shiny new machines came with Office 2000. Access is the database of choice with our customer. I'm sure most here remember Access 2000 and Access 97 didn't play nice together. So our whole office wound up upgrading to Office 2000 in order to continue supporting our customer.
I see what you're saying. However, I don't think Apple views it as a mistake. They designed the Mac GUI in such a manner, so you may accomplish all tasks with only one button.
I, for one, have never used a multi-button mouse on any of my Macs. At work I have a 3-button mouse with scroll wheel, so I have experience with a multi-button mouse. Yet when I go home to my Mac and its one button, I never look at it and think about replacing it. This is my experience and mileage will vary.
Honestly, I believe Apple has moved on... and left mouse variants to the third-party accessory companies.
This will sound cold, but I'd take the few hundred people dead.
I don't believe we should surrender our civil liberties just because there are people out there willing to kill us. There have ALWAYS been people out there willing to kill us.

Why, now, is it okay to abuse our civil liberties?
Thank you for your informative reply. I've already had to deal with a Shithead AC, and your more tempered response is greatly appreciated.
Too bad I've already posted to this, cause I'd love to mod you up "Funny".
You have to love one sentence "long answers"!

Should that be modded "Funny" or "Redundant"?

1) you NEED to
2) you WANT to
What else?
You are correct, but there's nothing wrong with expounding upon an answer. He probably just wants to hear situational answers.

It's conversational and it adds depth to the discussion.

Maybe, but by waiting a few days, we have feedback from people who've already tried it. I find that to be very helpful and informative.

True ... just take a look here. Plenty of choices are available. I think I even saw a 5-button mouse when I glanced through it.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yes.
LOL ... even if they did, it'd still be smaller than the X-Box.
