I perked up when I saw the ol' Model M. Got a couple lying around, and I've been using the same one for the last 10 years or so. But this! Drill press?! Band saw?! What is this, shop class? Sounds like a hardware problem, boyo. Not my department.
Adobe Audition 2 doesn't work under 2K, which is probably one of the few reasons I'd consider "upgrading." 2K really does enough for me the once-in-a-while I boot into it. Photoshop, sound stuff, games... Linux for the real work.:-)
Which is fantastic, and one of the reasons why I preferred ME over 98 (yeah, I know...). It's so nice not needing a disc nearby every time you change/install/uninstall something.
It's a stimulant, right? Sometimes the war on drugs just makes me shake my head. We flip out about baseball players taking greenies, and then say "well, they can just drink coffee or Coke instead!" Truly bizarre.
Yeesh. Sensitive much? I'm not trying to be an asshole, so maybe you're just stupid. Dime has 100,000 users. There are torrents available that have been up for the better part of three years. Looking at your stats, you're only 20 gigs down, which you could easily make up on a single torrent. Grab a Stones DVD and just leave it seeding for a month.
If you have a system with a low threshold (in the case of DAD, it's a 0.25 sharing ratio), and those accounts are periodically banned and deleted... I'll leave the rest as a puzzle for you when you graduate grade 7.
I don't buy that. You have way more than enough bandwidth to have a good ratio. Do you have your client set to stop seeding when it hits 1.0? If you really want to, grab one of the most active torrents (on the top-10 list), and just let it seed. Doesn't even have to be something you like. Then when you go way over on one, your overall ratio won't get killed when you grab a bunch of other stuff.
Long Island seems to have tons of dead spots. I talk to a friend on Verizon in Ronk, and her coverage is ok there, but when she was in Smithtown it was constant garbage and dropouts.
Verizon didn't use SIM cards; and regardless, are notorious for crippling and refusing to unlock phones. However, the coverage is AMAZING. I could get a call in a mine shaft.
Ah, but can you place a call FROM a mine shaft? That's the real question.
Gold plating doesn't necessarily provide better sound, but it corrodes less than other metals, which is a big advantage. Take a look in your computer sometime. You'll find plenty of gold in there for the same reason.
What kind of values are we using for "big?" I haven't noticed any real slowness, and I'm at 12,378 tracks. Still ripping though (now on "H"), so I'll let you know.:-)
No grounding strap? tsk tsk.

This program sounds very useful, and I'd like to replace Azureus with it. Where do I pick it up?

You mean like Usenet?
Masturbation's way better - you're fucking yourself now AND you're fucking yourself later.
The US has a levy too, but it's built-in and only applies to "music" CD-Rs.
Only if you've got 'em working in the salt mines.

Use your brain.

You and you are both right. Feedback loop, and all that...
I'll sell you my laptop for a biscuit and a tummy tickle.
You can't find the phone? It's probably under your invisibility cloak. Try the pager from the base.
Your ideas intrigue me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.

(Note to readers: this post is even better if you scan it like a Geico ad - i.e. read the caps in Little Richard's voice.)

Somebody forgot to turn on his sarcasm detector this morning...
