    nuclear is also solar in disguise - fundamentally, anything but fusion (solar is fusion in disguise) is solar/stellar fusion in disguise - that's where all the elements but hydrogen came from.

    The thing about hydrogen, as an automotive fuel, is that it's (supposedly) a better way of storing energy that was previously electrical than batteries. So you could have an electric car with some actual distance between charges.

    Octane ratings shown on the pump are different in the US - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating

    93 octane in the US is about 97-98 in europe.

    I didn't say it's an illegal monopoly - it's one granted by statute (specifically, copyright law). Or even an unreasonable one - But they should sell it to anyone, even those who they don't license as apple official service providers.

    It _is_ a public place. Something can be legally considered a public place without being public property. Those are two different terms in law, and you seem to be confused about this.

    Yes. In other words, they have the right to ask anyone to leave. The problem with that argument is that they chose not to exercise that right.

    Whether people who are NOT _their_ service providers have access to the manuals makes no difference to the quality of their service providers. What it benefits is the _competitiveness_ of their service providers vs those who are not apple authorized service providers.

    In theory, they are illegally using one existing monopoly (the printing of apple service manuals) to gain an unfair advantage in another market (repair and other service on apple computers)

    Sure, maybe ACTUAL illegal income is taxable, but if hypothetical illegal income were taxable you would have to pay taxes on every sex act at the fair market prostitution value.

    It's also quite revealing that the chinese google image search doesn't ask you if you want safesearch on, it tells you it's on and that's that. [now, i can't read chinese, but i saw the word "safesearch", and it linked to a google "answer" instead of preferences]

    First of all, neither of your statements are true. It's being pointed to the left and the image is taller at the left than at the right. Furthermore, if it _was_ in the same line as the camera, the effects would cancel out.
