Theoretically, there probably isn't enough energy on this planet to facilitate the construction a dyson sphere.
And don't forget from mining to implementation, uranium extraction and fossil fuel extraction consume about the same amount of fossil fuel.
Saw him on an interview last night. Went something like this.
Reporter: What about the report that in the last seven years, violent crimes among youth is down appx. 50% and video game consumption is higher every year? JT: My stats on violent crimes say otherwise. Reporter: My stats are from the FBI. JT: Er... uhh...
Dude, simple, fake it with a background on a parent container element, clear all the floats within the parent element. Dust hands on pants. It's not difficult. It's a very simple thing to do.
In fact there are even more lean ways to accomplish this. IE clears contained floats (albeit incorrectly) and ignores (doesn't support) the:after method. On the container div simply create invisible content that comes in:after all of it's child elements and has a clear method attached directly to it. IE clears incorrectly but in the desired fashion, and all other browsers support the:after method thus creating a clearing block level invisible element.
HAHA, I was thinking the same. This is an absurd conclusion. The money spent internally by companies trying to make the new version of windows work could be spent externally on money making pursuits. And actually grow the company, raise profits, benefit employees. Instead they are mired in an economic stalemate.
As in any of the major operation, all 'they' need is news of arrests. When in reality there are never any news of convictions. Which to me means no crimes are being commited. But as the lines begin to blur between, conspiracy to murder, and in reality, loud mouthing, the suspect will continue to pay the price.
What is this "after the war on terror" you speak of? I thought this is the perpetual war of 1984? All that happens is that the definition of what "terror" means changes, the war on terror continues, the cycle of fear perpetuates, the vassals leige, the 'barbarians' are kept from collusion. America folds into a world government comprised of corporations soon after. None of this three continent crap that Georgey was talking about. Don't you love America?

I've always thought of the box model as actual boxes, in a warehouse. You have the box, it's contents, the styrofoam peanuts for shipping, and space between other boxes on the shelf.
Thanks for clarifying that. Of topic a bit then, but completely serious question.
I'm certain the end product isn't dependant on the size of the resource. So why is it even a point to say it?
Example: my car was built on a 300 yard long production line, your's was only built on a 250 yard production line, therefor my car is better? Worse? Who gives a hell!? It's not the size it's how you use it?! I'm confused!
Back on topic, that's still too big a mint for Monsieur Creosote's tongue.
"Can a console really be viable at this price?"
A top end DVD player can. A console cannot! I've gotta take a guess that most people are buying a PS3 to play games, not watch movies. And most of the people that are buying it to play games, aren't in any way going to be able to take advantage of a blu-ray player.

It's my favourite Futurama song. And in my opinion the best song in any animated series.

No, that's robot hell.
Feel glad you can laugh at this. My head just exploded at this news.
You mean they are greener then 3d realms? Who have emitted nothing but hot air for years?
My question... Are you just lazy? HAHA Just kidding! But seriously, you're lazy right?

The Marquis de Sade is turning over in his metal stud and thumb tack lined coffin. And liking it.

"On the bright side, we won't have to deal with those stupid 5s and 1s, which only serve to get in the way."
That's the problem with inflation. Goddamnit! They should've ditch the whole fiat money system and returned to the Gold Standard!!
"When Firefox 3 is released, we can compare that with Opera 10 and Internet Explorer 8, which will both have moved forward too."
I didn't know that Firefox 3 had a seven year road map...

Man, did that joke turn sour fast or what?
For years man has yearned to destroy the sun.

Doubt it.
Even if either tanks or gets in the way, they can afford it.
They're all back at severely reduced pay, remember!?
Silence!!!
The Robot elders are corrupt, not incompetent!!!
Either you're a product of said system, or you just don't want to say the name of your country! I hope the latter!
That's funny, my Grandfather used to say... "If someone says 'I'm not a liar' then chances are good they're lying about something."
He would have liked the internet.

... with your grandchildren, in space.
Howevur, 200mm is not Wafor thien.
I think there's an error in the article. Shouldn't it read Nm? 20 centemetres, 200mm (millimetres) is two thirds of a foot.

Well, I'm gonna get a white 2.0 dual core, upgrade the harddrive for $60 and buy a $5 can of black spray paint. A net savings of $135!
