I can't get the solver to work on rather simple spreadsheets like I can in Excel. I just assumed it was a known bug, but perhaps it's user error. Does the solver in gnumeric work?
One of the benefits of being a slashdot subscriber seems to be that in addition to seeing the stories posted before the unwashed masses do, you get to read the linked stories before they are slashdotted. I'm surprised that slashdot doesn't include this fact in their marketing material aimed at increasing the subscriber base.
Actually, have any subscribers found that sites get slashdotted before they're even presented to the main audience?
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the other Lin[dows|spire] news. They are apparently one step closer to a public stock offering after filing some paperwork with the SEC.
Perhaps a service like affero (http://www.affero.net/) would be able to send some money in the way of wikipedia. I've never tried it, but it looks interesting.
The item description actually says "This product is designed to fit juniors." Is this product for the same kind of person that asks the Victoria's Secret salesperson "Does this come in childrens' sizes?"
The question is, is it possible to give away your right to sell an object and still be considered the legal owner of it. And that is very much up in the air. The right to sell is considered by many to be inherent to ownership.
That's the position I'm in with my left kidney and my right eye. It's my understanding that I own them, but here in the US I can't sell either. (especially not on eBay.)
It will fall out of orbit eventually if you don't do anything about it. Satellites periodically lifted a bit to keep them up there. "Just leaving it up there" actually costs money. That's why many old satellites are "deorbited".
Plus, current sockets aren't widely available like gas stations.
Really? I have two 220v outlets in my house, and could have one in the garage by sundown. I think it's somewhat more common for people to have electrical outlets in their houses than to have filling stations.
On a second note, isn't ham.. pork? I think it doesn't stand for that.. prolly just "Spiced Ham"'
The "S" stands for "shoulder." The shoulder pork meat used to not be worth too much because it's hard to seperate out the good and bad parts. Grinding it all up with some other ham makes it useful.
Here's a link to Dudley Hiibel's side of the story: http://papersplease.org/hiibel/.
Thanks for fighting for my rights, Mr. Hiibel!
Here is your useless use of kill -9 award.
This can't be true. If it were, it would be called Santix or Toothix.

I would use gnumeric if I could get the solver to work well. I can never seem to make it solve things that I can on Excel.
You must be new here. Everyone here is an expert on all legal issues.

Would you take porn from a guy on street corner that was giving it away, even if he assured you that it was perfectly good...
Perhaps some analogies are flawed, I guess.

It made your hole weak?
You must be doing it wrong.
That doesn't appear to be the same watch to me. I think it may actually run on Earth time. Did I miss something there?

or worse: my health insurance provider, employer, wife, and priest.
While you're at it, collect your useless use of cat award.
...which is consistant with the chart displayed on the senate floor today.
You mean post an article recommending using a rare XYZ and then post a reply saying...
What does Netflix have to do with the RIAA? Do they let you rent music over there now or something? Is this about movie soundtracks?

Have you found yourself making many crosslinks between "Family" and "Porn"?
