Uh, why? The Leaf is delivering a $30,000 EV (and has been for years). Tesla is delivering a car for the rich. I don't get why you guys are such fanboys. There are other car companies producing better EV for the masses (which you guys claim you want).
But this guy is a "neuroscientist" from Stanford. The assumption there is that he knows a lot more about the brain then we do. I am sure he does, but he doesn't know much about technology.
"we'll probably recognize that we're just not that hard to fool"
This guy better stick to making bad TV shows. You could make a completely silent robot that still won't fool humans. It isn't easy at all to make a robot even physically appear to be human. Humans are very good at recognizing other humans. In addition the statement "Once robots pass the Turing test" makes the assumption that computers will be able to do that. People have been trying THAT for decades, and now with digital computers hitting their physical limits it is unlikely that they ever will achieve it with digital computing. It would require a huge leap in technology.
Problem solved! Right? BTW, I like these new cuddly Facebook advertisements you guys are running! I totally trust you will do the right thing from now on!
It does? Do you mean "customers"? The people who generate video content for Youtube aren't their customers. What gave you that idea? Youtubes customers are the advertisers.
Maybe YOU need rules on paper, but some of us are all grown up and don't need a piece of paper to tell us how we should behave.
Damn. Can I return it to the store? Please advise.
Wrong. The Nissan Leaf is the best selling EV.

So you agree with me? The Leaf is the best selling electric car in the world, and is $30,000 (a different price point).
I think I know what is wrong. You installed Windows on it.
I noticed that seemed to be sending all my data to Microsoft. Is that normal?

No, it isn't an open question. A human will be able to discern a non-human with 100% accuracy (so far).

The Nissan Leaf is the best selling electric car in the world. Oh yeah, and it is $30,000. Somehow Tesla fanboys forget that.
"most devs haven't really built anything using FP"
Gee, I wonder why that is?
""But we wondered: Are there some unanswered questions? What else can you apply these tools to?"
Obviously the answer is "nothing" since they just created another game playing program. What a joke.
Are they having a 50% off going-out-of-business sale for all of your data?
Why does cost matter when the results are wrong?
You must be easily impressed. Any 2 year old can discern a car from a fish with 100% reliability. Computers can't.

I prefer the term "AI Assistants". They are missing an opportunity here.
Not possible with Google. They were founded with the motto "Don't be evil".
Why do you think?
Exactly. No airport is going to invest in a multi-million dollar system to help find "confused" people. What a joke.

You should discuss why all these people rely on a service for income without any contractual guarantee.
Did any of them that's head to the Arctic?
The headline was written by AI.
