    correction to my previous statement: at times, they do seem to prepend the commands with "computer". for example, in 5x13 "The Masterpiece Society" Troi/Picard use "computer pause" and "computer resume" commands in the turbolift.

    maybe not on the same scale, but usually OpenBSD doesn't get stuck into these kinds of arguments for too long, and whips out some code. and you have your pf-s wrong. IPF got kicked out and PF got written from scratch.

    The TNG computers were pretty good.

    I never quite got how the turbolifts worked. the crew doesn't seem to prepend commands with "computer...", they just usually say "deck x", "bridge", "pause", "resume". how does it know when it's a command and when it's just crew chatter? or are these keywords reserved for computer communication and their usage in casual chatter is verboten?

    Yeah, I was kinda shocked, really. I always wondered how people with bad blogs were able to break into the mainstream and gather regular readers. I guess they just try like hell to get picked up on Slashdot/Digg/etc with some worthless blog post.

    well that too, but in general it's even easier. just aim low and hope for the best. it's not very hard to appeal to the mainstream. shit, it's the largest audience out there.

    What are you retarded? That did not come out in the first five months, nay even the first 8 months. Gears of War was relaeased almost a FULL YEAR after the xbox 360 came out. Stupid Fanboy.

    no need to start foaming at the mouth, because other consoles have good games, yet yours is just... gimmicky. OK, so you meant the same 5 months from launch for the three shitty. let's see, Oblivion, FFXI, PGR3, Prey (okay, this was 8 months after release), Perfect Dark Zero, Q4 and Ridge Racer 6. are these any good? what do you have on your precious wee? another zelda and nekoneko pets?

    disclaimer: I don't own any consoles, I'm no fanboy of any of them but this guy is obviously nuts.
