Which is something that needs to be taken into account when you talk about mange/comics versus books.
It's hard for me to sit down at lunch and concentrate on a thick novel, but I can sit down with a manga (say Chobits for example) and read a good bit of the mange and relax. Where as with a book I prefer to be at home relaxing at the end of the day when I can invest afew hours to get into the book and enjoy it.
So much of the comparison between the two is apples to oranges - manga is a bit of quick portable entertainment that doesn't usually force you to think a lot (but it can be meaningful), where as a book is something that requires a time investment, but will usual have a more in terms of the out come.
I seen to remember an early episode of King of the Hill where Hank sent Bobby on a "Snipe-hunt". It seems to be a long running practical joke in the south and at camps. Here's a link for you.
Computer parts can be a very good thing to get: new hard drive, more RAM, new CPU. If you realy want to make a statement there is always that realy big LCD panel screen that most of the geeks I work with drool over.
Or if you have a hard time picking one of those out, then sex is always appricated ^_^
Looks like your are right about that being a CVS version header (Google Search - but that doesn't mean right off its from a Linux user. CVS does support Windows - well to some extent.
I have known many people that have had the same problem (Both on a college campus and at a private home) and the biggest problem seems to be the lack of what they define as excessive. If you have a broad-band connection that is always maxed out, then yes, they might have some reason for concern if it is not a commercial connection; but if you are a home user that had "excessive usage" because you were downloading/uploading Linux ISO's one month and don't consistantly use alot of bandwidth then they should have no reason to bother you.
However, I think that one of the biggest problems is the lack of information on exactly how much they say you are using - without telling information it is hard for them to define what excessive usage is and give you a baseline to modifiy what you have running. In short I think that the contract needs to define what excessive usage is in terms of bandwidth; and the ISP should provide you with some means of seeing how much you are using.
When I took the SAT in 2000 we were allowed to have the graphing calculators on certain portions of the test - but the memory had to be reset before the test and we had to do it while they watched. Some people I know lost alot of games that way. But as it turned out, there was nothing on the test that at most you would have needed a scientific calculator for (For the recored I used a TI-30X IIS (Two line scientific). In college the same thing applied in Calc I & II. But the catch is this: the TI-83 (Or equilivlant) was required for the class and the tests were adjusted accordingly (Longer and harder).
So don't trust the user, double check the data, and make sure than and error in the entry will not damage the program (Buffer overflow anyone?). This all sounds like common stuff that has been rehashed over and over again.

Some of what are considered to be the best FPS (i.e. Halo), and I've heard nothing bad about XBox Live. So if you like online FPS then the XBox is probaly a good idea, and you can network them together on LAN. Also, when you consider what goes into the XBox it is a very advanced console that I have heard people describe as a cheap gaming computer.
Correct me if I am wrong, but from the artical description of the trial as "...faces the retrial of his acquittal..." it sounds to me like he is being tired again for the 'crime' that he was already found inoccent of. Or is this more a case of the OKOKRIM pushing to hard for a 'first impression' ruling that is in their favor?
If you RTFA you will see that the 66-year-old Grandma was runing an Apple computer which as such cannot run Kazaa which they accused her sharing MP3's with.
But I thought that Siprnet was connected to the internet in the context the the transmissions over the interent? Granted a Siprnet computer cannot access the general internet and such associated websites and ect; however, it does need a means for communication between bases.
I second that, it would not be too hard to either write the key logger or the logic bomb - for that matter it would not nessecary need to destroy the entire program, just anything that can be used to track back to the oginator. The biggest problem in preventing something such would be to control the vectors through which it could be introduced to the network (i.e. Users running e-mail attactments), because once the program is on the network the damage has been done.
Belive it or not thats actualy the way that the model works. Like I said earlier, it is a very patch-work afair becuase of our lack of understanding of the way it all fits together. So in fact the name Standard Model is an oxymoron because it is nothing more than our best guess at how it works, and a guess that does hold exparimentaly true for now.
According to the articals the particle doesn't violate the Standard Model, however, the current Standard Model will need a change to allow for this particle. Of course it should be noted that the Standard Model is a patch-work affair based on observation with out much understanding of how everything fits together and as such will still don't know how everything works.
I have read that many companies have similar contracts with employees (My current employer as well) that state that the company has ownership of all code and IP developed while working on company time; however, I have always been under the impression that as soon as I sit down at my computer at home I'm on my own time. As far as I am aware this is also the first case of a situation such as this one occurring; this could mean bad things for developers if Apple is able to make good with their claim.
Most of the people that play NWN don't play the orginal story outside of maybe one time through. The real charm to NWN is downloading other people's senerios and stories to play.
I disagree, smaller does not always mean better. Yes, a good sized collection of CD's tend to take up some space, but people like to display their CD collection, and it is harder to lose a CD than a small memory stick (I have already lost one)

Tastes like coffee, thats nice, but let's cut to the bottom line: Does it have as much or more caffine as a strong cup of coffee?
On the other hand it is a Microsoft product...
I'm at work which uses IE6 ~ ugh.

Does anyone know when some form of a box set with the game and the x-pac's will be going on sale?
The best answer goes back to the class "Why not?" respose. Also, sometimes the use for something is not always apparent at first.
But vinyl is also easier to break than a CD is.
