The machines stole a computer virus of ours last night and it must be returned. We need the computer virus recovered and a bomb put in it's place as a...friendly reminder...that taking what is ours will not be tolerated.
Go to this location and pick up the bomb from Heron. When you have the bomb, I will send you the targeted location for the bomb and where the virus will be recovered. (What was that about a bomb?)
Jeez, maybe they could hire someone who can write to do this kind of stuff...
She wants the shop to order more items than the number of "pre-orders", so that they may have some in stock for the person who will just walk in to buy something.
The point of any system is whatever the hell you want its point to be. You may look at the mac mini (not sure if that "link" was a joke or a pathetic attempt at the freemac spam crap) as the system you want. Someone else may like this shuttle to be able to carry their gaming system around more easily, like being able to take it to your friend's place for a LAN party yourself, instead of having to drive because it's too heavy to do so.
It's much easier if you just have a few "standard brackets" of where a game should fall, simply because that way you can have clear guidelines of what should go where. If you subdivide too much (like, the differences between a 13 and a 14 years game would be pretty darned small) you create a problem when it comes to actually classifying a game, whereas this way both the consumer AND the developer know much better what the games are adjusted to.
>That'd prove far more agreeable to the users and pirates
Yeah, but it's not about the users and pirates, it's about the dinosaur trying to survive the meteor impact. And it'll destroy every single small mammal he can to try and perpetuate the species.
Why try to adapt? Changing your corporate ways is always a risk, it's much better when you can scare everyone into submission with absolutely insane punishment to give example.
> When you sign up for the ITsafe mail, you will have to provide a "ITsafe word" which will be in the subject of the email, and therefor its easy to see if its a forged mail..
Which, of course, will start showing up all over the place as soon as the clueless start forwarding the E-mails to family and friends to tell them there's a new virus threat.
My PocketPC port of Nethack has an on-screen keyboard that I can use to enter whatever I want (with the stylus and clicking on the screen). I'm pretty sure I saw, when I last compiled it, the boolean option to turn it on, although I haven't played with those options much, so it should be possible to get that on-screen keyboard in any graphical port of it.
>The only thing alcohol gives is bodily injury, the only thing your burgers give is artery blockage.
The only thing you're saying is bullshit.
>So, your saying that if you are driving under the influence of alcohol and pilot your vehicle into me then it hasn't had an impact on my health?
My saying... What? You're talking complete, absolute bollocks. Drunk driving is already illegal, and carries hefty fines and penalties.
>Your saying that the health care costs you are going to incure because you ate high fat goods isn't going to raise health care costs?
A single burger/pizza/choose your least favourite piece of food has X amounts of fat/cholesterol/protein and so on. All of that is handled by your body, and all of it is necessary. You need to care about having a balanced diet, and in such, fat-heavy foods have to be taken in moderate amounts. Tobacco is always detrimental, from the first cigarette.
Now, try again. I've said it twice: my drinking/eating burgers doesn't affect your health. And moreover, burgers are food, and together with fat and cholesterol they give proteins and carbohydrates and other stuff you need. What does tobacco give to justify itself? Other than it being "cool"?
>I really can't wait till they levy (higher) taxes on all alcohol products (especially wine) because those products also raise the cost of health care for everyone.
In Europe we pay premium taxes for alcoholic beverages. Also, my drinking doesn't affect your liver, does it?
>I think they also need to tax high fat/high calorie foods for much the same reason.
My eating burgers doesn't raise your cholesterol level. Also, unlike tobacco, food actually helps keep me alive.
>"Should we make our site standards-compliant or IE-compatible?"
That's a false dichotomy, what the webmaster should do is a site that is both standards-compliant AND IE-compatible, by using HTML that is correctly supported by IE. That is, of course, if he actually cares about making an accessible website and not a statement.

Doesn't sound like a very complicated thing.
Trust the computer!
>Yay competition!
No kidding, meanwhile the user is rubbing his hands and grinning.

You can simply look at the examples in the CoH webpage.
What distro did you put in those? I had some less-than-spectacular results with Debian, and although it's running now it's a bit clunky...
>A rundown on the Serious Games Summit Panel reveals answers from people who are making games for non-entertainment purposes.
Was the keynote speaker a SOE employee?
>reviewing someone else's code can be harder than writing it in the first place too.
Hey, Real Programmers don't comment their code, if it was hard to write it should be harder to read!

Um... Pentium M?
Spellforce and Gothic are German. I'm very disappointed that Spellfoce didn't fare better though, it's a *fantastic* game.
You know what's even better? That the vulnerability cannot be patched through Windows Update :)
I'd have modded you +10, Interestingly funny.

"KABOOM! You step on a land mine. --More--"

**ATTENTION SPOILER***
Palpatine is actually a bad guy.
*Shock*
*Horror*
>Well have you ever used bluetooth?
Why yes, yes I have. All I have to do is double-click a shortcut and my PDA is connected to my PC in a second.
Have YOU ever used bluetooth?

For Herbalism you may want to try WoW...

> Studies paid for by the alcohol industry?
Try peer reviewed scientific journals instead:
Beer and health: Preventive effects of beer components on lifestyle-related diseases.
Plant polyphenol antioxidants and oxidative stress.
Flavonoids in food and their health benefits.
Way to dodge the point, well done.
