    I tried to watch 'Enemy'. I failed, it was excruciating boring and slow paced. Characters where flat and the surprise plot was not so much a surprise.

    If it gets the crystal skull treatment, it will be entertaining (while insulting your iq) if it will be anything like Enemy it will be hard to stay awake long enough to criticize it.

    I don't have a problem with fakes marketed as fake (or the pr term replica).

    I do have a problem with crap made to look like a nice products marketed as nice products at almost nice product price point.

    At least 95% of the time things I got at Ali was what was more or less described.
    There where some notable exceptions however and Ali, for now at least, doesn't care. Escrow is a joke, the people handling the disputes are incompetent or interested probably both. The people handling the complaint on the dispute resolution have no intention whatsoever to do their job.

    If the headline was much better quality, maybe, but it's not immediately clear to me that this is in any way better than just using higher quality/size JPEG.

    I agree, half the size is for most people irrelevant. The article mentions the quality improvement you wanted but did not make it in the summery. Upto 14bits per channel could be a major plus when implemented natively in a DLSR.

    Even then it first need to be widely supported before it is used by many, it needs to be used by many before it will be widely supported.

    The one thing that keeps Oracle customers, especially the corporations, coming back to Oracle is that critical data can not be guaranteed if you use Postgresql or any other 'chicken branded' database engine

    Correct one of the very few things you can do with Oracle compared to PostgreSQL is shunt the blame to them, while you might get the full blast when the same thing happens to PostgreSQL.

    I have btw never see either of them fail at preserving your data.

    Correct English is not my first language, having said that. From a dictionary:

    ethnic (thnk) adj. 1. a. Of, relating to, or characteristic of a sizable group of people sharing a common and distinctive national, religious, linguistic, or cultural heritage.

    Your definition of choice is in there as well btw.

    And to be honest, I couldn't care less about somebody genetic heritage. I care about their behaviour.

    Immigration is not a problem per se. Immigration of large groups not willing to conform to our local ethnics is.

    I'm from north western europe. Our ethnics is largely atheist and liberal and we are under constant pressure from minorities trying to force their "sensibilities" on society. Well if they don't like our way of living, they are welcome to leave as far as I'm concerned.

    Intel MB may be fine, but stay away from the wireless 7260 series, they are utter crap and only work mostly with the very latest firmware and driver/kernel version.

    Maybe if you'd said 65 instead of 90, you'd be right. But any bump at 90 has a respectable chance of leading to loss of control by one or both vehicles; typical cars just don't maneuver at those speeds with unless it's very gradual.

    Switch Thunderbird to off-line mode before you start configuring a new account. The **HORRIBLE** auto-configuration will not show up and you can just configure your account.

    Like the old installer up to Fedora 12 (or so) enabled you to do before the horrible unintuitive mess that is the current installer replaced that.
