I seem to be the only one so far to write a semi-negative comment about Wikipedia. I have found numerous errors when reading articles. I personally do not believe that the wikipedia gets better as more and more people edit and contribute. If I were a teacher I would never allow anyone to cite from Wikipedia in a report.

People should use caution when trusting info from there due to the fact that anyone can slip a bit of misinformation in there without anyone noticing for months or years.

I like using MBNA bank's credit card number proxy feature whereby you create a onetime use CC# with a limited spending limit to give out online. It's a great feature for paying at Sam's Shady Online Store with a CC# that has a $30 limit and expires in a month.

In most restaurants, even nice 4 and 5 star ones, they disappear with your CC. I have never seen people get up after putting their CC in the black leather folder thingy and follow the waiter to the register. I'm sure you are legally allowed to, but never really invited to.

While it's fun to bash Diebold and everything, I can see how most of the issues are user problems. I worked as a cashier in a grocery store for years and if I had a nickel for everytime someone got confused on how to use the credit/debit card machine at the register, I'd be a millionaire. People didn't know which way to swipe the freaking card, they hit 'cancel' instead of 'OK', etc. They screwed up in ways I didn't even think were possible. So it comes as no suprise that user error is largely to blame for e-voting mishaps.

I use phishing techniques to get 419 scammers to give me their email password so i can shut them down. I usually direct them to a URL promising to contain a scanned image of my passport or whatever. The link usually goes to a log in screen for their particular email provider. This works great. I know they'll just get another email address, but this is a small thing I can do to disrupt them a little.
