"impressive visual experiences while maintaining idle power consumption under 100 mW"
Qualcomm's 7200 already maintains idle power consumption under about 50mW on HTC devices even with screen drawing power. Of course, the claimed "impressive visual experiences" on this chip can't be verified since Qualcomm/HTC neglected to provide any drivers and their chips run slower than 4yr old hardware. Turns out to be a licensing issue, not a technical issue.
So depending how nVIDIA prices their chip, we may once again get more devices with "impressive visual experiences" not-yet-enabled.
in Japan nobody uses SMS. Phones send/rec proper emails with a proper email address. Costs start from 0.9yen, going up to 2-3yen if you send 5000 character mails.
The 1st version of VHS had longer recording times The 1st version of Betamax had better video quality
Both evolved, and the winning version of VHS had longer recording times AND Betamax video quality, and that is what the customers wanted. Betamax had introduced longer recording times which reduced their video quality, thus lost. So in the end, VHS was "better" in every dimension.
You the manufacturer sells your bit to your 6mil retailer for $10 each (volume discount). They sell it for $15. You sell to smaller buyers for $11 each. They sell it on ebay for $12.
whose fault is it the guy with less costs in a more competitive marketplace undercuts the retailer? YOU, for not giving a bigger volume discount.
What? What planet does he come from? Ever tried to find a feedback form on a major software co's site? And don't cheat by using the sales enquiry area. You may get a pay-per-incident phone no. at best. And hope that you don't get placed on hold.
My ADATA 150x speed SD card runs benchmarked 0.8MB/s, slower than my Panasonic 10x speed SD card at 1.2MB/s.
I wonder if this Samsung speed relates at all to the HD speeds? Cuz I know HDs REALLY can read 15MB/s in REAL LIFE on FORMATTED disks. No flash tech so far has ever published real life speed yet.
"Because food is cheaper to import than produce locally"
That IS the problem. Why can farmers halfway across the globe in Australia grow AND transport crap to the US cheaper than locals? Maybe drop all farm subsidies so the lazy farmers can get their shit together and be more efficient like when other places dropped their farm subsidies.
The real reason is farmers are powerful politically, so you all pay more for food to keep them happy (and lazy)
holographic storage has been 'coming anytime now' for almost 20 years. I remember they even had working prototypes back around '90-91 era. yet why don't we have them? any theories?
unless you've broken the laws of energy conservation, "generate power from the astronauts' movement" will also mean "make it harder for astronauts to move"
There will be no public outcry. There will be no public users. Waste my DL limits for a 30 day playable period? How about wait for the 'fixed' version on bt instead?
BBC will get no complaints, and then wonder why DLs are so low.
Microsoft doesn't have to worry because clearly if there was prior art, the patent office would inform Microsoft of their mistake right? Because that's what the patent office's job is. Oh...

So now the US government is reduced to doing testing and QA for Microsoft!
they've thought of a reason to reduce payouts for ad clicks? cuz CPC is so high c/f CPM, and CPM surely won't go up because of this 'research'

but when will 2.5" enclosures support more than the 120G the current roof seems to be at? Esp those digimate devices seem to support only 80G!
they charge business courses more because of 'higher future potential earnings'
looks like they want it both ways eh?

I'm still waiting for cheap DVD +- DL to arrive by the spindle...
Will DL ever take off? Or will HD be mainstream by the time it arrives?

Maybe Sony called them and begged them not to make the PS3 look any worse than it already is?

Well, everyone knows that if you can't track it, it's not happening :)

I see, in that case this updated version removes the need for a separate plug-in assuming subscriptions are of similar quality
Hmm, my brand new Adblock says 'get subscriptions' with a box 'auto update'
thus the query.
For the unwashed, what makes Filterset.g need mentioning vs the 'builtin' 4 filters?
For that matter, what's the diff on those 4 filters?
MS has given away things to open source, eg WiX, etc
it is also the only way this will ever float given how well JPEG2000 has been accepted...
when not just educate the users and let the ones that don't listen die cruel horrible deaths and be a lesson to others?
so that we don't get a repeat of the GIF, JPEG, MP3 patent scams coming up again in the future

How can you ever prove you would normally _never_ do it? Never is a long time and you just did it right?
