    If you RTFM, AllofMP3 pays royalties. RIAA has the right to collect on those via Russia's version of RIAA. They don't.

    And the RIAA is rumored to be connected to the mob. SO what? Everyone is connected to everyone else (6 degrees of separation). You can't go after someone with a legal business just because they have friends who do illegal business.

    3) Profit!

    Plus, running the museum would be so much fun! Just make up whatever you feel like! Make fun of the tourists while explaining creationism as if you were serious!

    1) You really care if someone stole your pw at say /. or a forum? And every dumb site now requires a login...
    2) Banking sites don't seem to get their PWs saved anyway, as much as I'd like them to.

    3) in the end, your ISP has your PWs, so if ur important enuf, ppl can get your stuff.

    just like how etrust merely certifies that the site has a privacy policy are not that it is good

    I would guess that currently Verisign certificates merely verify that the site has an identity, not necessarily that it is who think it is...

    Next I would propose a certification for certification companies to certify that they actually certify their certificates...

    actually, I was more surprised that senators had the power to refuse things to be tacked on to other bills. Because so many unrelated bills had been tacked on to surefire bills in the past, I had always assumed the people involved had no choice

    Indeed. If an hour could be fatal, maybe being notified won't help if they take 2hrs to get there, and maybe she should be living in a hospital.
