    I'm no expert, but isn't the whole *point* of sleazeware for marketing? Every time I've seen sleazeware, it's had ads with it, or frobnitzim there for the purpose of collecting info for - wait for it - advertising.

    A nation's ccTLD is its national identity online. Their domains shouldn't be sold to just anyone. IMO, the guidelines for .fi make for a good set of rules to ensure the ccTLD in question serves the people of the country.

    Domain name speculators, look elsewhere. We have enough ccTLDs that have been exploited to death (catch a hint, .ws is for Samoa, NOT WebSite). The new government of Iraq deserves its own online identity. Let them have it.

    Call this a troll if you must. 'tis just the way I got it figured, is all.

    If you've whitelisted your email, that crap won't get through if you're not on the whitelist. That goes regardless of your Subject line. Same story if you do challenge/response, for that matter. Or you can munge, as I do.

    I still say spamming needs to be a felony, though.

    I'm in Virginia. I sued people from out of state. I've won. I did all that in a Virginia state court.

    Someone should explain the "long arm" concept of law to hizzoner real fast.

    As much as I hate AOL, they did have a case to file in State court. My guess is that the judge just didn't wanna deal with it.

    No, SPF has a different meaning in that context. SPF = Sun Protection Factor, iirc.

    This SPF is different. Since spam and sunblock are NOT related, no one is gonna confuse the two SPFs.

    You can get plenty of historic death photos at cadaver.org (AdultCheck ID required). It's fascinating to see that "the good old days" had their share of violence and gore. Dunno if they take submissions, though.
