    I guess the difference is you buy a hp printer, you know how much cartrages cost, it's not like they are forcing you to pay more, you have the choice, when all the printer manafactures agree to go higher, you don't have a choice, that is the difference.

    I don't know, I think that it might be in the contract with coke/pepsi. I'm not sure how that works cause it's a agreement with the supplier, not between the companys themselves.

    Debeers is a non us company, tis why they get away with it I think, I could be wrong.

    Opec is another one of the exeptions, they are a bunch of countrys, non us, us laws don't apply to them.

    Lets say there is a wendys and a burger king in the mall, bout 4 stores down from each other
    They are allowed to set the prices as they wish, and hence get into price wars from time to time
    This is all fine and dandy, until the two managers get together and say, 'You know what, if we agree to keep our prices at $2.00 per burger, we both will make more money.' At that point it's illegal.

    Gillette is not going with razorx and making deals nor printer manufactures.

    Well, anyway, the point is, you can't really proove that you have feelings nor that something doesn't. Feelings are one of those things that mean different things to different people. /me shrugs

    no, you have to guess same or different
    if you know that there is a >50% chance his coin is tails and >50% chance your coin is tails, then you can guess the same and be >50% sure you are correct, but if you look at yours and see if yours is heads or tails, you up your chance of winning by a great deal.

    so how did it deal with non normal installs? what about uninstalling? how did it deal with deps? how did you find all the deps of a program? Do you auto scan the make file and pass it the correct paths if they are nonstandard? What about packages requiring older/newer versions of automake/autoconf/gcc/etc? What about compiling flags? how does it deal with programs that don't support certain flags or need others on your platform?

    Lots of questions :P

    You can really gain a psychological advantage over a person when you win a few without looking at your results and winning each one!

    Hrm, how do you know same or dif? you can't know for sure what yours is or his so looking at yours gives you enough of a advantage that it might help, but not looking at all is freaky stupid imo.

    I agree, 2.0.x is the better kernel. Security wise that is. Now the hundreds of companys still using 2.0.x or earlier are all wrong because it works for them and they should break everything and maybe open the systems up for problems because you think they are wasting their time eh?

    Well, It's their time to waste and I think it's quite bastardious of you to tell them that they are wasting their time.
