1/12th may not seem much, but don't underestimate word-of-mouth! You don't see this on mainstream media, but I've read somewhere that there were about 87,000 (yes, eighty-seven thousand) demonstrations against the communist government in China last year. And a poll revealed that China is the country where the most people believe in free enterprise.
Of course, there are emulators for most game systems on the Mac. But some are still Windows-only, or much better on Windows, or not updated to OSX: 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Neo Geo CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, SegaCD, 32X, WonderSwan, Colecovision, GP32, TurboGrafx...
So, they say "playing violent videogames can lead young men to believe it is acceptable to smoke marijuana and drink alcohol."
Let me rewrite this: "playing violent videogames can lead young men to believe that the government does not have the right to forbid you from consuming mild mind-altering substances, as long as your actions do not harm others' lives."
Something a bit like that happened to me: I found an auction in which the seller posted a link to the article that I had written about King of Fighters Dream Match 99 to explain that it was actually a port of King of Fighters 98.
That game rules! I like it so much that I created the Propeller Arena Fan Site, where you can find tons of info/pics/music. Check it out, Dreamcast fans!
WOOOSH! That was the sound of the joke passing you by!

Gmail vs Pine

A web-based client does not fit the usual definition of client: the stand-alone program that accesses data from a network service. In that sense, the client is still not Gmail's web-based interface, but whatever web browser that you are using to access Gmail.

Gmail vs Pine

· Score: 0, Troll
Gmail is an e-mail service, usually web-based, but also accessible by any email client. Pine is - like Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, or Apple Mail - an e-mail client: an application that is used to read and send e-mail.
In the jungle I run tonight Find no peace to logical life No confusion, just wrong or right oh yeah.
Faces, numbers I recognize You don't fool me with cynical lies No problems, no compromise oh yeah
Only solutions Don't pull me down, I just wanna hear Only solutions Oh, it won't be long, it won't take too long
Modern times drive me insane Explanations I can't explain Leaves me standing in the rain oh yeah
Solving mysteries with nothing to lose Magic leaves you without any clues There's only so much one man can do oh yeah
Only solutions Don't pull me down, I just wanna hear Only solutions Oh it won't be long, it won't take too long Only solutions Don't pull me down, I just wanna hear Now that the sun is shining Clear vision, clear vision

Only solutions It's my point of view Only solutions Oh, clear vision Only solutions No second thoughts Only solutions No, no, no contradictions
Thanks. After reading your link, I have a new favorite sig;) -- "We believe Internet Explorer is a really good browser. Internet Explorer is my browser of choice." -- Steve Jobs
I know it sounds wrong now, but in 1997 it was true. Back then, Internet Explorer was the best web browser on the Mac; Netscape Communicator had become a bloated, crash-prone mess; there was no Opera for Mac, no iCab, no Firefox - there was pretty much no alternative... unless you count Mosaic or Cyberdog (yea right).
"DReaM-CAS"? Where did I hear that before... *ahem*
Which redirects me here, so i can't see the chinese page...

Sounds pretty good to me.

The LISA telescope won't last that much: it'll soon be replaced by the MACINTOSH telescope.

To befair, that is not a monkey suit: Ballmer really looks like that.
For huge file transfers, there are web-based services like the ones in this list.

E.) People switch to Apple, and never look back!
You insensitive clod! He's making his kids use Microsoft products only, and society can not condone such hideous form of child abuse!
Well, it is an opportunity too, but not to Microsoft.
Very well. Solely Solo shot.
Indeed, that's not worth discussing. Han DID shoot first, and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot (including George Lucas).
