I do not have a dvd drive of any sort on my computer. My fiance does not either. Not to mention that cds are cheaper than dvds, and it's to keep file size down.
Target checks too. On a side note, checking thier PC games clearance rack is a goldmine sometimes. Decent games for under 10 bucks (granted they aren't just released).
I like this game a lot, but the one downside is that since it's flash, it doesn't work with a control pad. At least it didn't when I tried it. Great game though.
You should watch some videos of people getting swept away by one of the waves. Does a life preserver protect you from being slammed into a tree with the weight of the rest of the wave pressing on you? Does it deflect broken glass, wood and other assorted debris? I didn't realize that a rubber tube could save you from being crushed and/or broken.
Seriously watch a video of the waves crashing in then covering buildings in Sri Lanka up to the second floor. Wearing a life preserve in a tsunami is a bit too little too late.
Maybe in a 2d game world the wave would go straight. But stuff tends to go in every direction possible in the water. Drop a penny in a tub at the side and look at where the waves go.
My cheap KDS monitor will not do anything higher than 60hz at any resolution. It seems to bother everyone but me. I play HL2 with no nausea. I changed my fov to 90 though.
Now XIII is a vomitron on my pc. 10 minutes of that and I can't function for a few days.
I was a big fan of Fedora before this bug bit be quite hard on the ass. I lost a lot of data in the week following it.

The Halo music made me enjoy the game much more than I would have without it. One of the best soundtracks ever.

That level was a hell of a lot longer than 15 minutes sir. In fact I recall killing Flood for at least 20 minutes before that stupid Librarian flew up to me and said "Only 9 doors to go". Cut to me Uninstalling Halo.
Dual wielding added the disadvantage of not being able to throw toned down grenades in H2. Better find some other way to destroy those newly destructable vehicles.
Actually go back and play nolf2 again. It was far ahead of it's time, and still to this day looks pretty good. Having played it for the first time a few months ago, I was shocked at how nice the game as whole actually looked.
My entire PC was under $499 with a decent video card.
Wrong country...
"THAT" is a huge salamander according to the FRA.
When this "game" was first announced, there was a lot of press about how they would come after cheaters, and lot's of what ifs.

It's just "The Rules". Not everyone has a dvd burner.

Oh, and Rayman, Ape Escape, Farcry, Myst, and the flop XIII. Not that the whole Tom Clancy thing isn't a cash cow.

It wouldn't be 150 feet high until it got right to shore, and even then it wouldn't be moving at 100mph anymore.

CNN had near nonstop coverage over the last couple of days.
Yes, while we're at it, we should arrest people who plagarize anything.
Impossible? Telescreens could handle the job tomorrow.

It was a problem with the 2.6 kernal and the app "Part" I believe.

There will be a flood of cheaper 3rd party battery packs that will have several times the life before recharging no doubt.
My Neo Geo Pocket only had to have it's batteries changed once in the 4 months I had it. That was with at least an hour's worth of play a day.
There is a mod for GTA3 and Vice City out already that replaces the fake ads with real ones. It's called GTA The Real Killer.
