I don't see the material difference between spying on people with a manned plane versus an unmanned plane other than the location of the pilot. Why should I be more worried about the government spying on me with a Predator than a U2 (which by the way have been around over 50 years)?
How exactly are you shocked when you suffer abuse after labeling an entire community with a pejorative word like "sexist".
Also should we really take advice on discrimination from a guy who obviously thinks being called homosexual is abuse.
I won't deny that there are sexists in the FOSS community, but what I'm more interested in is if a higher percentage of men in the FOSS are sexists than the general population. I'd be willing to guess at LEAST 20% of males in the general population hold sexist attitudes. I bet you would be surprised by the number of women who are sexist against women too.
If you could create antimatter at least 50% efficiency and already have the matter to annihilate it with then you will come out with a net energy gain. The problem would be capturing that energy, which IIRC is mostly neutrinos. Also I'm willing to bet the efficiencies are much lower than 50%.
The most likely explanation for this is that some FBI employees who were ignorant to the fact that this was legal decided to run his name through their database and probably figured out he wasn't some evil-doer stealing court records.
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
So your proof that IPv4 address exhaustion isn't going to happen is to provide a bunch of sources that say (except the EC) that it is going to happen next year and current predictions are that it will be 2 years from now. Only a year off in trying to predict something 10 years in the future sounds like pretty good accuracy to me.
The Washington Times has been rehashing stuff like this for the past few months because a Democrat is in office. The Washington Times is far far less reliable than Fox News. Fox News may be biased but their real news people usually don't just make stuff up like the Washington Times does.

Presumably they are only going to distribute the binaries (and therefore the source) to their clients. There is nothing stopping the clients from then giving the source code away for free but unless one of them does then the only way to get it is to buy their product.
IBM's Lotus Symphony may be based on OO.o but it is not open source. Sun originally dual licensed OO.o under the GPL and their own BSD style license, IBM took the BSD-style licensed version and developed Lotus Symphony.
Since when were clones of something considered to be the same organism. I better tell my friend who has an identical twin that she is technically the same person as her sister.
install 6,523,706,000 cameras! That would give you 1000 cameras for every 1 crime committed in Britain. Though I propose installing them in people's eyes as soon as the technology becomes available, it is a much more efficient strategy considering you only need 1 (or possibly 2) cameras per person.
Perhaps these are going to go in next generation Nielsen boxes so that Nielsen can give a more accurate count of viewers instead of just assuming 1 box = 1 viewer.
You are being deliberately obtuse, in the late 1700s all slaves were blacks. Yes there were some free blacks but they were a tiny minority compared to the number of slaves. It is one of the great tragedies of American history that this nation was founded as a nation that endorsed slavery and by extension racism.
You can however develop a psychological dependency to marijuana, even though it isn't physically addictive. Though you can develop a psychological dependency to almost anything like the internet, porn, video games, etc.
Actually I've never seen Trebek rule an answer wrong for using the wrong word to start the question (which only matters in double Jeopardy anyway). I've heard players answer "What is [person's name]" and that was perfectly acceptable. So it is even more trivial, just put "What" in front of every answer.

It already comes with Linux (i.e. Android).
If you use a symmetric key that is the same size as the message (i.e a one time pad) then you can be sure no one will ever crack it without the key.
If their data had been in the cloud this wouldn't have ... oh damn never mind.
[censored] Sorry, I had a really funny comment but Bryce Byfield didn't approve of it.

Bull was killed by Mossad because he was helping Iraq build a "supergun". You make it sound like he was killed because of Project HARP.

Most economic theories have a hole you could drive a truck through. They assume people act rationally.

Windows isn't free (in any sense) either, so there is also a "Windows Trap".
I absolutely will NOT watch it without the original cast. I can't imagine anyone other than Billy West voicing Fry.
South Korea fined them a "whopping" $25 million, Intel managed to talk its way out of a fine in Japan as long as it promised not to do it anymore.
