    better to use time bombs using more efficient and agressive search patterns then a machine suicide scrambling the hard drive and if possible damaging hardware through software overclocking and other dark arts.

    the ONLY way to cause botnets and other infections to be taken seriously is to deprive the lusers of their porn, mp3's and possibly their hardware. a few crispy video cards, region-locked DVD players set to only play japanese DVDs and corrupted documents will force them to but at least basic security such as NAT firewalls and one of the plethora of internet security suites.

    roaming is free, rollover is very yes, call waiting is yes, afaik no forewarding, voicemail is very yes, and the menus more responsive and less wasted time (minutes) than verizon, text is cheap (5c each way on new phones, mine is 3 out 0 in, and no on GPRS. the 150 card USED to be every 15 days but they boosted it to 30 and the $30 card to 60 then recently dropped the $15 card, so it's $30 every other month.

    30 min / month? Net10 service is $15/month minimum purchase and that gets you 150 minutes per month. on their web site you can get refurb phones dirt cheap as well.

    the sony rootkit directly targetted individual cusomers with malware, the 10NES chip prevented commercial production of unlicensed NES carts.

    foobar has a fast string search so if you DO like to put all your music into one playlist you can find whatever you are looking for very quickly. when you have 20K songs on your computer that's ofter just about the only way to find a song if you don't know who sings it.

    because a huge number of people use GIMP for small things like icons, avatars, wallpapers and other things that would piss people off if it tried to eat up all the RAM, even if enough individual images were open to fill the RAM.


    also last time i installed GIMP does ask you during install how large to set tile cache.

    no 10NES does nothing to users. if a homebrew coder or fan wanted to, there is nothing preventing the removal of a 10NES chip from a licensed game and reinsertion into a RAM cart.
