    that increase in memory will also be very useful on the linux side.

    also sinc ethe machines support both, people will be able to really compare linux and windows and see what a hog windows is.

    but it's not working. antisemitism and racism has flourished in europe. the french riots, growth of germany's NDP, etc.

    by banning distasteful ideologies you ensure that conversion only goes one way. when neo-nazi beliefs are outlawed nobody openly debates their racists beliefs, they hold the ideas close and must remain paranoid of outsiders due to the danger of going to prison.

    with genuine free speech it is easier to prevent growth of racist groups since confrontations occur more frequently and as long as the anti-racists are on the side of reason they should win more conversion than the racists do.

    american hate groups know this and exploit it by promoting paranoia among members because the more their members are open about their beliefs the more likely it is that membership will decline as people find their beliefs indefensable.

    why run Oracle on windows? Especially for important corporate data linux has better reliability and security. Can you be certain that a worm won't get through your firewall and bring down the network AND the database servers?

    I didn't mean to imply nothing can use that much power. Just imagine how many Exchange and IIS servers are going to be installed on those things though.

    the largest compression i ever did was with the emporio release of HL2 a few years ago, i saved over a gigabyte after compression (i think i went from 3.8 gigs to 2 gigs) and that was feeding it something like 600 megs of RAM for a night. haven't tried it on my laptop where i could spare over a gig just to see what kind of results i would get.

    7-zip cribsheet:

    weak on retarded things to zip like WAV files (use FLAC) mp3's, jpegs and divx movies.

    7zip does quite well in documents (2nd) and ebooks (2nd) 3rd on MPEG video, 2nd in PSD

    also i expect 7zip will improve in higher end compressions settings, when possible i give it hundreds of megs and unlike commercial apps 7zip can be configured well into the "insane" range
