Jesus H. Christ on a bicycle..... do you watch the news? the only thing this would lead to is a pill you cvan force your kit to take that makes them turn purple if they have sex, masturbate, or do any drugs.
parachutes work well as the drop distance increases, at lower drops they are unlikely to unfurl correctly in time to save the egg, for example being pushed off a table or tossed out a first story window.
if the attorney was helping them hide what they did it is still in progress, if the attorney was advising them on the likelyhood of getting caught, penalties, and possible defense strategies it would be withing the scope of the job.
those clips were admittedto be fully scripted. they were rendered in real time but done using pre-programmed movements and actions rather than being actual game engine output.
"99 percent of all the books ever printed are out-of-print".
that is an obvious statistic. it is impossible to keep pringing every, most , or even many of all books ever published. out of print doens't mean impossible to get it just means they aren't shipping it anymore. there are still loads floating around in used bookstores and new unsold stock that stores think they will be able to sell
windows 98, i can stay out of swap with AIM 1.0 and a web browser window (works best with OffByOne, can use several tabs) if I use IE 5.5 it hits the swap file pretty hard but other than that it works fine.
i have a PII 233 32 meg 6.3 gig sitting on the floor near me right now... well actually 2 of them but only one is hooked up
i am setting it up with as much lightweight software as i can. AIM version 1.0 from oldversion.com offbyOne web browser to offer tabbed browsing with no javascript and IE 5.5 to handle anything that requires scripting and crap. i will probably go looking for the lightest IRC client i can find tomorrow and install notepad++.
windows can be set up to run on older hardware if you really want to. but your options suck everything is a choice between missing features or slow as shiat
3 years old? that is practically new unless it was the bottom of the shitbox heap when you bought it. 4 years ago i bought my athlon 2200+ based machine with 512 megs of ram and a radeon 9700 pro. just recently have i started holding off game purchases till i get a new machine because i doubt i can run the games well, i know i can run them.
i'm tired but my point is that a 3 year old machine isn't that old at all even for a gaming computer for media it should perform flawlessly and office work (unless you insist on installing the latest version of MS orafice or OOo it will run just fine.
Indy is pro-business, it just wants those business to be smaller, more creative, and more responsive to the audience. A more decentralised capitalistic system.
they could TRY to kill DVD, but they will only end up killing themselves. DVD playing hardware is FAR more prevelant then VHS ever was, at most a household would have 2-3 VHS players one for each TV.
now
nearly every TV has at least one DVD player hooked up
nearly every desktop or notebook PC has a DVD-ROM
every Playstation 2
and X Box
and xbox360 has DVD playback.\
also there are quite a few portable DVD players now.
High end luxury cars have DVD players built in for the back seat
they won't be able to kill off DVD for at least a decade and a half, probably longer.
a more realistic law would penalize filiers of bad patents ifthey sue or demand money from someone then lose in court. make it a seperate court case with maximum damage of 25 times the amount sued for or demanded in exchange for a settlement.
this would only kick in if the judge decides that the patent filier either filed the patent or demanded money on the patent knowing their patent was obvious and probably should not have been granted in the first place.
just like you can get banned for using exploits in MMO's you should be penalized for exploiting PTO mistakes
maybe even have "banning" patent filers and nullifyig all of their existing patents if they are found to be deliberately filing junk patents or making demands maliciously for things they know the patent does not cover.

pussy sores? that is just nasty
microsoft would be foolish to do that.... AMD would almost certainly retaliate with lawyers as well as assisting in linux optimization for AMD CPU's.
not supporting or optimizing for your competitors is just fine, going out of your way to disrupt or disable their products is not.
are the DVR's capable of being configured to connect to a VPN?
if not is there any way to filter based on IP address or reverse DNS?
funny, my vacuum bottle would disagree with you on that

if it takes several years for XP to get slow and crappy he must be doing something right

office 97 still works just fine for document creation, you can also use abiword if all you need is word processing.

their age check somehow fails with firefox, being born in 1925 was also too young.
IBM tends to go all out when sued fir any bullshit reason bacause they are big enough to attract EVERY bullshit lawsuit

then spend $6000 collecting it. though you could probably sell the debt for at least $2000
They revere it almost to the point of fetishism.
Tubegirl?
if they were clever enough to know the difference they wouldn't be playstation owners now would they?
things could get interesting if there ends up being an injunction delaying the release of vista.
