    I so cannot wait for the next UT game with Conquest mode, sort of a hybrid between assault and onslaught, with fecking huge maps (3-4 times the avertage ONS map?)

    Have you tired UT2k4 in RPG Invasion mode? you fight an alien hoarde while gaining experience, levels and stats by making kills. quite fun actually especially if you aren't in the mood for a hardcore game.

    the government is not forcing you to share what you invented, the government would be forcing you to sell at a reasonable price if you want to the government to prohibit others from inventing their own version very similar to yours

    Nope, most mainstream titles are encrypted but the format does not require that content be encrypted and there are discs sold without encryption.

    more likely that the manufacturers would throw linux on there too, if company Alpha sells fully funcitonal linux machines and Beta sells XP Starter Edition machines guess who will get the reputation for selling useless pieces of crap, especially under the less tech savvy people who don't realize that "the computer" is different from the OS

    getting around it would be fairly simple with applicaitons, just have one application which loaded the others within itself.

    they wouldn't have to "monitor the network" all they would need is a university connection and they could log on to i2hub from there it's just like any other user except with the evil bit set to True.
