Sure, they probably have a video iPod waiting in the wings. I mean, these are the guys who developed a version of their operating system for a seperate CPU in secret for FIVE YEARS, just in case the Power PC line didn't pan out they way they wanted to.
I mean, other company's a quarter of Apple's size have developed portable video players...and so far, the market has responded with a rather large feh. If Creative was on the cover Time magazine and their player was on every street corner, sure, Apple would get in the game. But that's not the case (for now).
What about this one?
Who's patching those linux servers?
That's kind of the point, Sparky.
Wow, what do you do when they say they're going to take a shit, Semantics Man?
But does it go to 11?
Yeah, it's really too bad that they outlawed music stores after iTMS came to be, eh?
Someone please mod this to 11....this is never going to happen...
That game was the devil...they would have put in a digitized middle finger at the end if they had enough space...
Ok, slightly off topic, but why is this posted in Hardware?

There is no such thing as old school loyalty (at least in the music business). The dollar has always been the rule, not the exception.
Actually, my co-worker's ship date is this week, and his credit card was just charged...
Good thing that type of information isn't printed on your checks...wait...OH SHIT!
Yeah it does...I see you get first post all the time!
Nice sig...pot, meet kettle...
There isn't a lot of professional intel OS-X software to take advantage of the new platform yet would be my guess...
This is probably the single most brilliant thing I've ever read on Slashdot.
I'm a typical web admin, so can i really afford to take time to write all the scripts to make this work? Hell no.
If you don't have time to administer your web server, what the hell are you doing all day at your web admin job?
...then I wouldn't be anonymous, would I?
Mod parent up...that made me chuckle out loud at work...

Touche...
They do...but as soon as one station leaves the AP, the whole network ceases to relay tokens.
