Yes, you can live in an abandoned missile silo. Can anyone say nuclear rave?

They cant fix it because they dont want to. This is not an error, it is deliberate. The nature of the "bug" seems to point toward purposeful insecurity to allow election tampering. When I go in to vote, instead of being a good little nazi, I'm going to put a brick through the machine.

I for one would never allow my self to be "teleported". Quantum teleportation http://www.research.ibm.com/quantuminfo/teleportat ion// is a misleading title. In short, you end up with a "copy" of the original. If a human were to travel this way, it is likely the result would be an exact copy of the original (you would die).

  7. Wow on Olympics to Have Massive Surveillance Network · · Score: 5, Insightful

I understand the need for security, but the problem with measures like this, is that once people become accustomed to seeing cameras everywhere, it's very easy to just leave them in place. Over time, more and more of our freedoms are sacrificed in the name of security, creating a society of fear, and a "Big Brother" situation in government. This is what the defined goal of terrorism is, to instill terror, to make us sleep with one eye open. Extremists will never win through conventional warfare, but through a series of calculated clandestine attacks, they can influence politics, make or break presidential elections, and sway popular opinion. We are playing right into their trap.

  8. Good movie on The Matrix: Resolutions · · Score: 1

    Moderate spoilers......

I think it was a great movie! Neo as a christ figure, smith representing the sins of mankind and (he replicates himself untill everyon in the matrix is him), the train station (mobil=limbo), blind faith (neo), the symbolism is what makes this movie! Granted, they may have sacrificed some aspects of the film to uphold this, but I liked it.
