By the time Halo 2 for Vista comes out it'll be old and outdated. Unreal Tournament 2007 will already be out. And who knows, by the time Vista comes out with Halo 2, Unreal Tournament 2010 might already be out.
My view is opposite. Yes, I agree that Family Guy isn't as strong before it was cancelled, but I seriously can't stand American Dad. I've completely given up on American Dad and no longer watch it. Frankly, I'd rather that they stop American Dad and focus their attention and strength on Family Guy.
It's just not possible to get a movie -- or any artistic work, whether we're talking serious art or pop culture -- to the state where it's absolutely, 100% perfect.
While the article details about NES (which I owned including the Atari 2600), I remember the day I went out and bought the SNES.
I faked a sickness and fooled my parents, allowing me to stay home from school. Once they left, it was a quick ride to the local Woolworth store (remember those stores?) and a $200 purchase later I was at home playing Super Mario World.
I'm sorry, but if you're going to build a massive disk system like this and plan on filling a good portion of it up then you need to have backup plans in place. In the event that you lose data, how will you recover?
So this isn't about how to build 1 PB of disk space but two: One is the main and the other is the backup.
Can you afford that? Can you afford to lose the data?
I use tabs less often than I expected: opening new windows is often more comfortable - easier to track which window lives where. With multiple tabs (I find) the back/forward behavior becomes complex and hard to predict.
I don't know about the rest of you but I love having all my tabs in one place. It drives me nuts when I needed to open a link in IE in a new browser. It's just easier to organize when there's 1 button in the taskbar to click showing my website titles all lined up in browser tabs.
Whoever modded this up needs should have their points taken away.
I have mod points but instead of modding you down I'd rather say this:
I worked at UPS while going to collage and all I can say is that it was the best part-time job I ever had. I worked there for over 4 years and was making $12.50 an hour by the time I left.
In addition to having a great pay, I also received full-time benefits! Plus if I wanted to continue my job at UPS there was the option to become a driver. Yes, it's hard manual labor but pay is great.
I worked in the Henrietta, NY warehouse where the summers are 95% humidity, 90 degrees and the winters get to 0 degrees.
So suck it up! It's manual labor! If you're too much of a wuss to handle hard labor then stay with a desk job.
BTW, I left UPS to start a career in IT in the Bay Area and that's where I am today.
Thank you UPS for giving my the cash to move out here!
Communication users from 12 to 17 years old say postal mail is best for talking to parents or institutions, but they are more likely to dial up a phone when talking with each other, the nonprofit Pew Internet and American Life Project found. Postal mail is still used by 90 percent of teens. But the survey found greater enthusiasm for phone calling.
WHO CARES!?

King of the Hill MMORPG? Can I play as Hank Hill?
It proves to show that some of the Muslim communities (the most vocal, it seems) are still living in the past.
Instead of it saying "Schoolgirl fantasies gone wrong" it said "Schoolgirl does math homework and studies history".
Hey Lookie! Another article with an actual PICTURE!
A picture is worth 1000 words.
I have no doubt in my mind that all of this will be resolved....once we build one of these.
OMGWTFBBQPWNED!

Anyone else read the title as someone who's inspired in awe?
"ooOOOoooooo, draw documents with imagination. Ooooooo! Ahhhhhhh."

Ah, yes. Replace sea creatures with dancing lambs.
marypoppins = (superman + starship) / god;
That would explain the flying bed and communicating with sea animals.
Where, O where, have the original fun-to-play games gone? :(
Nintendo
"It was a best of times, it was the worst of times..."
That'll be $0.86 please.
The study isn't about putting on an all-mouse musical.
Great idea!
Just...gotta make sure 'Mice' isn't playing anywhere near where 'Cats' might be playing.

I can think of one instance.

Ha! I guess I should have given my age. I just turned 32.
SNES was released in 1991...so yeah, I was in High School.

My parents didn't have a clue.

What is this PHP you are referring to?
</sarcasm>
I'm a huge PHP fan.
But even I'm getting sick of these PHP reviews.

Ah! Someone beat me to the post. :)
