    I think that the attack would have to be very specific. Might work as a targeted attack, but as a general exploit it would probably run up against too many versions/variations in hardware/firmware/software.

    You just have NO idea what this means. Did you know this is an iPHONE we are talking about here?! I know, I know, it was hard for me to comprehend at first as well. I just hope that AT&T doesn't find a way to stop this from happening. I mean it's like we all hit the lottery.

    Off topic here, but I really find the new layout of the site is shitty. I hadn't even gotten used to the last change - which sucked as well. I hope this isn't the end of Slashdot. I used to go to Google news almost first thing when I got on the internet. When they changed their layout - to a layout I found was just asinine - I found myself going there less and less to where I stopped completely. Haven't been to the main news site in months, and I'm not sure if I'll ever go back. I don't know if that'll happen with Slashdot - like I said I hope it doesn't - but the new layout is really painful to look at.

    The robot expends lots of energy trying to balance the pencil on it's end, always adjusting, and never gets it quite right. The human (me) turns the pencil on it's side, and balances it in the middle. Call me back when you have a robot that's smart enough to actually solve the problem, and I'll be impressed.

    Considering that it's a completely different problem, it should be easy to impress you. How about a robot that you instruct to open the pantry, but it opens the bathroom door instead?

    How about a robot that when instructed to feed the human, eats the human. Would that be impressive?

    I guess it'd have to have some awesome digestive tech. I'd be impressed, but only if it was my ex-wife.

    I think that ALL of them should make over $100k a year! If we could stop this fucking MASSIVE wealth redistribution from the middle class and the poor to the super rich (not paying sufficiently for work done by the sweat of the brow is just as bad if not worse than having to pay a little back in tax) we could afford something like this AND balance the budget. But sadly no. Republicans believe that they acquired their wealth with the help of NO ONE ELSE. Isn't that weird?

    Hmm. How did that stuff arrive for this factory that I built? Oh yeah, no thanks to the fucking government, it arrived magically. Hmm... where did that turd go that I flushed down the toilet?     More then half of those listed are from other countries are not not all US .gov and .mil sites.

    Yeah well my state is listed (http://www.utah.gov/) with full site admin control, so I guarantee a bunch of my info is up for sale. It's probably because the state government here usually pays it's workers poorly, and I'm sure that goes for their IT people, so most likely you aren't getting the best candidates.

    It's the Republican's philosophy at work: pay the absolute bare fucking minimum no matter the cost.
