    What i'd like to know, if there are any examples BESIDES apache that show Market Dominance != insecurity.

    Don't get me wrong, i think the OSS method of security works much better, but ANY time someone brings it up, the only counter example is apache.

    The problem isn't just if they want to copy a bill, the fact that its scanning for these images slows the product down!

    It explains why people were reporting version 8 to be slower then 7.

    Does it even need a BIOS? I thought the *only* diffrence between the 9800 and 9800 pro was clock speed, and even the heatsinks were the same.

    Well yes, but thats kind of where the second question came up ;p. It seems kind of foolish that it would essentially be dead if its communications fail temporarily..

    IANAE(ngineer), but if the Beagle cannot send or receive any data, is it programmed it to keep working, e.g. collect soil samples, even if it is cut off from communication, or will it simply sit dead if cannot send or receive signals?

    And if this cost millions(?) of dollars to create, just to get stuck in a hole, how hard would it have been to program it to move around, and try to get somewhere where its communications would work?

    the only real problem for marines, which seems to unbalance the game, is they require a good leader and player for the commander. This is why aliens usally win on pubs, because the comm's, just suck.

    If you play on a clan server, marines win a TON more.

    I mean, think about it, if you lived there and were regularly showered by huge retro-rockety or bouncy things from the monkeys on the planet next door, wouldn't you tear the probes apart with rage ?

    Or, they should let you boot your system without all those exploitable services that are turned on by default ( rpc, messanger, etc )
