Every night I pray that your peers at IBM choke to death on the DeathStars and DTLA models we (data recovery company) receive as head crashes. OK I'm not really that upset, but I really hate making those phone calls to the customers.
However, I am pleased with the head parking feature; more storage companies need to incorporate that in 3.5" drives. Makes HDA component replacement a breeze!
Anything digital can be circumnavigated. There's always a way. And as long as Lite-On has $30 52X burners and Memorex has 100-pack spindles for $19.99, they will be used feverishly and for whatever purpose we choose.
In related news, OSDN/Slashdot to pay 'cost of loss' for the disrepectful way in which, after posting a link to Opera's site, the server melted in less than 8 comments.
Does the RIAA/MPAA consult Mitnick for every demand for information from the ISPs? So a police department has to jump through hoops for this sort of information, but the **AA just has to phone up Comcast?
What are you talking about? Show me this 'special drop-down menu' and tell me why it is so profoundly insulting. I'm sure I haven't seen every page on this (dynamic) site, but everywhere I see a menu for "State", I also see a menu for "Country" and another for "Province". I'm sorry you're so upset that you go out of the way to check 'Post Anonymously' to save your outstanding karma points and come rant at me instead of the site owner/admin.
PS: one half of the site staff isn't in/from the USA.
Argentina, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Israel, Italy, United Kingdom and lastly United States. It's there in plain text. Looks 'Global' to me, especially for a new service. Want to see more folk music from Qatar? Tell a musician in Qatar about the site!
I'm not going to fight a bunch of AC posters on something I don't make money from. But if you're going to attack me, at least have proof. I'm happy with what I've found, and so is the only other non-AC to post here.
Nice post AC. There are over one thousand artists and the service only launched in March. Besides, it's not just for downloading cheap/indie music. It's also there to help artists develop themselves. The more it's used, the bigger it will get. Granted they don't have CNET money and you probably wont see their ads in PC World magazine. But you will see them in Underlined Magazine and Vision Music USA.
Try other sites like www.myglobalsound.com instead. Everything MP3.com should have been the first time around. It was created by a couple geeks and runs on Linux, too! Think MP3.com value plus ITMS ease-of-use plus Google variety. I'm filling up my third custom music disc as I type. Always find something good (and new!) there.
The only factor binding a listener to playing an album from start to finish is old technology. You'd be hard pressed to play a vinyl record in random order. Get with the times, my friends. These days it's all about options.
Sorry, I was referring to information I received here, among other places. It may not be a CompactFlash card, but apparently has a similar form-factor.
Look at the huge sales of the ridiculously overpriced iPod Mini
Since when is a product whose internals, seperately, are worth more than the final product 'overpriced'? Try to find a 4GB flash card, 8 hour battery, LCD, and anodized aluminum block for less than $250. And we've left out the cost of R&D on the unit and the software (which is the best there is ATM). You bore me.
This should pretty much cover your apetite for music. Take a look and I think you'll like what you see.

You really cant buy a geek many geek things because they (we?) know exactly what we want because we've been lusting/researching it since it first appeared on/. Unless he tells you specifically what to get, you could be treading on sacred ground. You might pick up an ATI Radeon 9000 and insult his loyalty to nVidia. Or an AMD Athlon 2500 XP and he'd rather have a Pentium. Catch my drift?
I asked for a laser engraved Titanium Zippo lighter. V-day and our 2 year anniv are coming soon and I don't know which I'll receive it for.

Right. I was thinking "any digital restrictions can be..." but my fingers didn't follow.

I think they're only considered aliens after they cross said border.
Perhaps they didn't reference their own How Web Servers Work.

It isn't my site. But I'm still better than you.

What's the difference between this and a Tablet PC?

When it comes to PC and device design in general, Apple is a leader and everyone else is an also-ran. Finally this time it's paid off.
