    *one of the things that MS doesn't have is the 'comminuty closeness' that *nix users have. this closeness is why linux innovation is an par with the biggest software company in the world* I disagree, me and my fellow window users would get together and discuss how windows sucs, where did it crashed and why it went down destroying everything in the process, then we would inovate (i.e.) talk about which sofwtware to pay, how much is it, bitch a bit about it.. etc etc.. to prevent that happening again. Mind you, some people are even crying over lost data so there's your closeness with the machine. See, we got both point :)

    MS can play some dirty tricks too
    Some time ago I was installing XP on my box with Debian aready preinstaled on another partition, when, it booted up from the CD, reached HD partition page and: bla bla bla unkown parition detecte, formating, please wait.... all of my assigments, all of my configurations, just gone. I installed debian again, and AGAIN started XP instalation, but it did not occur again... Darn...

    Until someone finds a way to cut out those few secs of the movies...

    They are missing the point of people GOING to the movie in the first place.
    Which is (at least for me):
    -Having flawless audio tracks
    -Opportunity to dive into the screen and forget the outside world for a while

    Having said this, and them having done what they did, well, red dots on the movie screen or pixelisation on my home Pc is about the same effect.

    Althouh AMD rocked them on this one, Intel is still has the best compiler around. Or so they told me when I was paying my 30 bucks for it :)
