Think more along the lines of a window that doubles as a display. Not only does it save energy, but it makes for much better integration of technology in the household, or anywhere else for that matter.
I love the reason I'm selected out at the airport. They don't even bother to call it random. My name, Eric Thompson, is too common. Clearly, this indicates I'm a terrorist. I get stopped before getting a boarding pass, patted down at security, and stopped again before I get on the plane. All of this while travelling with my mother and sister.
Last time I flew, the security officials told me how to avoid this screening. Simply add my middle initial to my boarding pass.
Because everyone knows, terrorist aliases don't use middle names. EVER.
I've heard from certain sources that this could be extremely hard to accomplish, due to extreme hardware limitations in the DS. Still looks like a great handheld to me, though, I can't wait to try it.
If anyone has ever tried any of the current devices for creating messages in the air using LED's, namely the one which you swirl around to create the message, you'll know that this is a definate improvement in typing the message.. while text messages are generally painfully slow to type, entering whole sentances having to scroll through the whole alphabet and symbols using 3 buttons is torturously, mind-numbingly slow and annoying.
I'm on Team 818, and we had a lot of fun at the Detroit and Palmetto regionals, although sadly, we didn't make it to nationals this year. Oh well, there's always next year!
Well, living in a suburb of Detroit, I quickly found out how bad people are at driving. I had gone to a 7-11 to get a slurpee, and sat outside drinking it for a while. I then went to cross the busy intersection that the 7-11 was on. Remember how you're supposed to treat power-outage-traffic-lights like 4 way stops? Because the people driving sure as hell didn't. I can't beleive there were no accidents. Took me 20 minutes of waiting to cross the street, and even then I had to run as fast as I could and pray that no maniac flying down the street at 70 would hit me.
My friend was at the mall at the time, he said that all the lights went off, and everyone started grabbing clothes and other objects, and running.
I really don't think companies should make much of an effort to block spam, especially plain out trashing it. It only screws up legit e-mails. I've had my e-mail address for 4 years now, and used it a good amount, and I still only get spam about twice a month, if that. I don't see how dumb you have to be to get 40 e-mails a day (as I've heard certain people at school talk about...). The only way I can see that possible is to enter your e-mail into every porn e-zine you can find. Seriously.
My god, that was epic. For a second I could swear I was on 4chan. I had to triple check that this was slashdot. Well done, sir, well done.

Well, I'd say the scientific team's credibility is going the way of the dodo.
I say it's the fault of the entire internet.
Have Al Gore subpoenaed immediately!
Wouldn't Maddox be barred from his own site?
Yeah, Team 818 attended the Northville kickoff as well.
Nope, just the team that the author and I are on.
MSPaint.NET: Now with a star shaped brush!

I'm placing my bet now that Hydra will win, become world champion, then disappear for 10 years, before being deported from Japan.
aimed at the Asian market App 1: Starcraft App 2: IRC App 3: Microsoft gives you the benefit of being able to choose this one!

No big surprise. Damned Microsoft.
Plain and simple, ever using AOL was my greatest tech-related mistake of all time.
wouldn't that be monopolization? It's basically outlawing all non-AT&T sponsered E-Commerce.
